Kion gently carried Sawa and Raja back to Priderock. He was upset Rani wasn't with him, but also glad, because his cubs got to grow up with him.
Kion started to walk up Priderock, but was stopped by Kiara.
"Where were you! And why do you have two cubs?" Kiara asked. "I was patroling and found these two cubs abandoned," Kion explained.
Kiara's gaze softened, "Oh no! Poor cubs!" She nuzzled them. Sawa and Raja started to cry.
"Oh no! Im sorry, Shh it's ok," Kiara said trying to comfort them. "I've got it," Kion replied. He licked Raja and Sawa on the head. Raja and Sawa started to purr.
"Woah how did you do that!" Kiara asked flabbergasted. Kion shrugged. He picked up his cubs, and went up Priderock.
Kiara followed him, "Who's the mom? Is she dead? Did she just abandon them?" "I don't know," Kion replied.
Kiara looked at the cubs, then Kion, "They look very similar to you. Are they your cubs?" Kiara asked. "No of course not! Where would you get such an idea!" Kion chuckled nervously.
"Because they look a lot like you," Kiara replied. "Uh no they don't," Kion stated. "Yes they do! Stop denying it!" Kiara shouted.
"Leave me alone Kiara!" Kion growled and walked away.
Rani walked away from Kion and her cubs. Rani sighed.
Ananda and Sahasi walked up to Rani. "Did you kill them?" Sahasi asked. Rani nodded. "Good, because we have a new mate for you to have cubs with," Ananda smiled.
"WHAT!" Rani's eye's shot open. Ananda nodded. "Why! Why are you doing this to me!" Rani shouted, tears flowing down her face.
"Yes, Moro is your mate," Sahasi explained. "NO!" Rani screamed.
"You can't have a Pridelander as a mate, and so Moro is your new mate," Ananda explained.
Rani screamed and ran into the tree. Rani cried herself to sleep.
A few hours later, Rani was getting ready. She couldn't believe her parents were doing this to her.
Rani hopped on the rock. Moro was smiling infront of her.
