Rani and Kion woke up the next morning. "C'mon let's go," Kion smiled. "Im excited," Rani smiled. "My parents are very nice, they will like you," Kion replied. He and Rani crossed the border.
Rani felt butterflies in her stomach. She thought of all the casenarios that could happen. Kion's parents could like her, they could kill her, banish her, hate her, there are many outcomes, but then she remembered, she would get to be with her cubs, and Kion.
Kion noticed Rani looking nervous, "Hey my parents aren't going to hurt you. They are very kind." He licked her cheek.
Rani smiled.
They arrived at Priderock. Rani gasped. "Beautiful isn't it," Kion smiled. "It is," Rani replied.
Rani and Kion walked to Priderock. Kiara peered over the edge. "Kion!" She shouted. She ran down to him, Raja and Sawa in her jaws.
Rani gasped and ran to Kiara. She took her cubs from Kiara, and nuzzled them.
"Who are you! You can't just take these cubs!" Kiara shouted. "They are my cubs," Rani growled. "O-Oh, sorry," Kiara pinned her ears back. Rani's gaze softened, "It's ok."
"Where did you find her?" Kiara asked. "Kiara, I'm going to tell you something, and you can't tell anyone else, promise?" Kion asked. Kiara raised an eyebrow and nodded.
"Rani is from the Tree Of Life," Kion started. Kiara gasped. "And, I'm her mate, and father to Raja and Sawa," Kion explained. "S-So, they're half-prides!" Kiara shouted.
"Sorry if you're mad at me, but I love Rani. I don't want anyone else as a mate," Kion licked Rani's cheek.
Kiara nodded, "I understand Kion. And, you're cubs are absolutely adorable." "Thank you, but they take after their mom," Kion smirked at Rani.
Rani kissed Kion. "Do mom and dad know you have a mate from another pride? And had cubs with her?" Kiara asked. "Uhhhh," Kion looked around.
"Why didn't you tell them!" Kiara shouted. "Because I didn't know how they would react," Kion replied. "C'mon you have to tell them," Kiara ordered. "I will, c'mon Rani," Kion turned to her.
Rani looked at them both nervously, "Ok, let's go." They walked up Priderock to see Simba and Nala.
