Last Chapter - Until You

Two days before they were to fly back to Manila, the planned dinner pushed through. Fallon was shy at first but slowly opened up after a couple of inquiring questions from Ash's dad. Leslie, their mother is very welcoming and always urging Fallon to get more food.

After dinner, Ash asked permission from Fallon's dad and his dad if Fallon can stay the night. They agreed and so they lay in bed that night, facing each other, just chit chatting. Outside a storm is raging. Ash turned sideways and clasped Fallon hand by placing each of his fingers in between each of Fallon's. He then kissed Fallon's hand. Then as if writing a letter, he stated:

My Dearest Fallon,

For the longest time, I truly believed I do not lack anything. But despite that belief, I feel like I am looking for something. I decided the reason to be that I have not realized my dream of creating a perfume that will truly amaze me. So for years, I kept trying. And when I finally succeeded, I realized that what is missing is the reason to create that scent.

I wanted to develop a fragrance that will evoke a forgotten beautiful memory, one that will express the charm of new beginnings and one that will excite one's senses on the promise of tomorrow. What I lack is the person who will be an inspiration for that. But I was not aware of it until it was fulfilled. I was unaware until you came. I was unaware that I am incomplete...until you.

With you, I learned what it means to be truly loved by someone. I thank the heavens every day that you came into my life. And I want you to know that I will always be on your side no matter what happens.

I love you, baby.

Fallon smiled, moved closer to Ash and placed his forehead on Ash's.

"I love you too, baby."
