I finally arrive and can't help but be drawn to the guards. They look so cool, like sculptures.
"Hi," I greet, standing in front of the tallest one, who looks like the leader. He glares at me and keeps staring ahead. I give him another once-over and smile as I notice something.
"Hey, that's so cute, ik someone who makes those, I have a similar one. We're matching," I say, holding up my hand to show my bracelet. He glares again and shakes his head.
"You act like Lev." I smile and step back.
"Anyway, have a good day everyone," I wave as I head inside since it's almost time to start work, so I greet Ms. Yilmaz, who's still in her PJs. Looks like she's not working today.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" I ask, hanging up my bag. She smiles at me and nods her head. She smiles and nods.
"Yes, thank you for asking."
"You're welcome. Want me to make you some tea, coffee, or a smoothie?"
"I'd love some tea, please," she replies. I nod and head to the kitchen to make it.
"I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything else," I say, smiling as I leave. After I prepare breakfast and pack lunch for Siena, Sasha and Aleyna, I get Aleyna ready for the day and head to check on the older kids.
I knock on Siena's door, and after what feels like an eternity, she opens it with an annoyed look. Good morning to you too.
"Can you be ready by 8:15, please?" I ask. She invites me into her room, leaving to the bathroom.
"Help me pick an outfit," I shrug and do that after I help her pack her bag cause it's 7:50 and she's not out yet. For her outfit, I pick something simple and green, since I don't know her exact style, but she has a colour for each day.
"Can you do my hair?" she asks after getting dressed. I do that and leave to check on Sasha after making sure she's all good.
