"Sure.."

I was surprised I said yes. It was one of those moments again, when my mouth opens even before I could think it over. You looked surprised.

We headed to our cars in the basement. You waited for me to get in, and I waited for you to go ahead first. That moment I realized, I had no idea where you lived. Not that it was my business to know anyways, but that time, not knowing where you lived seemed a little bit scary.

What have I gotten myself into?

A million thoughts were running in my mind that night.. Should I have said yes? Should I have asked more questions? Have you said those lines before? Have I fallen into a trap? Am I going to get hurt? Are you playing with me? Should I have said I don't think it's a good idea? Are you laughing in your mind right now?

As we get inside your car, I notice first the smell. Your car smells sweet. I wonder if your ex did all the cleaning because it was very clean. It smelled good. It almost seemed like a lady owned car. I wondered if you were a little bit curious how I was feeling because you never really did ask me.

You were very quiet. I wondered then if you were thinking about her, I wondered what was going on in your head. I wondered if you were even thinking about me when the whole night was going on. I wondered if the thought of her crossed your mind when we were together.

"Hey, you okay?" I finally managed to ask you a question.

"Yes, of course I am. I'm just thinking about the last time I was with a girl inside a car."

"Oh."

"No, it's not that. It's just that it's been quite some time.."

"I see.."

"Do you mind if I turn on the music?"

"No, I don't"

"Thanks."

When you did turn it on, it was an INOJ song.

I could not stop smiling, I gave out a tiny laugh. When I looked over to you, you were also smiling. Oh God you look so cute, and you were a little bit sweaty. You looked over to my side and you managed to laugh as well.

That car ride could have went the other way had we not turned on the stereo.

You told me that you found INOJ songs to be catchy so you listen to it whenever you are driving, you said you weren't prepared for someone else to be with you inside the car. You said you were embarrassed that I heard it, but I told you not to mind because I liked her songs too.

I have to see you smile like that again. It was a very honest smile, an you have the most contagious laughter. You literally lit up the whole car with your smile.
