Y/N O'Brien, a seventeen year old boy and Ally Dineen, a seventeen year old girl. The two had been together since they were thirteen. Their relationship was a she fell first but he fell harder trope. Everyone knew they'll get married, have a family and grow old together.

They were what people nowadays call couple goals. They spent most of their time together except when Y/N helped his dad out in his shop and Ally helped her mom baking for her café. They weren't rich but they were happy and for them it was all that mattered.

They planned to spend their lives together and take over their family businesses. They planned on having a few kids once they got married.

Until after a night of passion between the two, Ally fell pregnant. Sure, neither of them were ready for a big change but they couldn't wait to raise a kid together. They started saving money together so they could buy a house, a family friendly car and stuff for the baby.

They decided to ask their parents for help.

"Mom, dad. We have news. Ally's pregnant." Y/N told his parents as they all sat on the couch.

"Really Y/N? You're both only seventeen."

"We're happy mom. Sure we would've preferred if it happened later but we want this."

"Well we don't. Get out of our house. You aren't our son anymore."

Y/N and Ally left the O'Brien household and got into Y/N's car.

"This isn't how it's supposed to be going Y/N."

"I know that Ally but we have each other and a little one on the way. I only need you and our little one."

"I love you Y/N."

"I love you Ally."

They shared a kiss before driving to Ally's parents house hoping to have better luck.

"Mom, dad. We have news, I'm pregnant."

"You're seventeen Ally."

"You did this to her. My daughter had great things going for her before she got with you."

"Sir, with all due respect, Ally still has amazing things going for her."

"Don't talk to me like that in my own home."

"Dad! I love him and I'm going to love this baby."

"You're an embarrassment to the family Ally. You're still kids, how are you going to raise one?"

"Together," They said in unison.

"Then you have no family."

"Fine." Ally stood up pulling Y/N up too. "We're going to raise this baby together and we're going to love it whether its a boy or girl, gay or straight, cisgender or trans, or if gets pregnant at seventeen. We are going to be better parents than any of you have been."

They couple left the house after Ally's speech. They had each other and that was all they needed.

A year later and the two eighteen year olds were in hospital as Ally was giving birth. When things took a turn for the worse Y/N was forced to leave the room. After the longest hour of his life, a doctor walked out carrying his baby girl. His face lit up when he looked into her dark brown eyes she got from both of them.

"Hi Lacey. I'm your daddy." He smiled as they baby cooed.

"Mr. O'Brien, we're sorry. There were complications, the mother didn't make it."

"What? No. No. She can't...no."

"We're sorry for your loss."

The doctor walked away as a nurse took Lacey to be checked over. Y/N watched over his little girl as she slept, he had called both parents to inform them. His parents said they were sorry she's dead but still want nothing to do with him or the baby.

"Where is he? Where's the asshole that killed my daughter?"

"I didn't kill her."

"Yes you did. You got her pregnant and that killed her."

"Ally's death was a tragic accident I did not kill her."

Robert swung at Y/N knocking him to the floor. The doctor's pulled him away from the downed eighteen year old.

"You killed her!"

"No I didn't! You will never see me or my daughter anymore. You will not be invited to the funeral either because you told Ally she has no family. Now get the hell away from my daughter before I call the cops."

Both parents were escorted out by security. Y/N stuck to his word and the only people at the funeral were him, Lacey and his and Ally's friends. At the funeral, Y/N gave the eulogy trying to be strong for his daughter.

"And finally even though you didn't make it to the end of my story I will always keep the corner folded down because it was one of my favourites."

The grandparents were not allowed to see their granddaughter, Y/N refused to allow it and as the father had full custody of her. He would not allowed them to blame him for the death of the love of his life.

Y/N would have to raise his daughter alone. Life hadn't turned out the way they had planned but he knew he loved Ally with his whole heart and he always will. Now he just has to love his daughter enough for the two of them.
