Rue walked through the hallways of Castle Dimitrescu. She couldn't stop thinking about the time she spent with Lady Dimitrescu in the gallery. Her thoughts lingered on her eyes, the way she looked at her. Oh how she wanted Lady Dimitrescu to gaze at her like that for just a few moments longer despite the guilt she felt whenever she saw the paintings of Daria around the Castle.

Lady Dimitrescu was still in love with Daria. She knew it and it hurt. It hurt her in ways she never thought it could. Her heart clenched painfully at the thought. She could have just ignored it but it was like her mind was cursed remind her that Daria still had her heart.

As she walked, she heard a pair of voices that seemed to be arguing. As she began to get closer and closer to the corner of the hallway that was near the Opera Hall. She began to slow down when she recognized the voices before coming to a stop to peek around the corner. There, she saw Bela and Sora in the middle of an argument.

''Sora, just wait, please, can we talk about this?''

''No, Bela. We can't. I've already gone to Lady Dimitrescu, I'm leaving Castle Dimitrescu and there's nothing anyone can do about it.'' the maid said.

''Was it something I did? Please, tell me, I'll change, I swear.''

''You didn't do anything wrong. You just can't protect me.''

''But I...'' Bela looked at her, reaching her hand out before taking the woman's hand. ''I promised I-''

''I know, you did Bela. But when he broke in and shattered the window. I saw how weak you were. You couldn't save me. I'm going to my sister. And there's nothing you can do about it. I'm done Bela, I'm sorry.'' she said, removing her hand from the eldest Dimitrescu. ''I will forever treasure the memories we've made, but I don't feel safe here anymore, or with you. I'm sorry.'' she said before turning away from her and walking in the direction of Rue.

The woman stepped away from the corner and listened to her foot steps getting closer and closer. Once the foot steps got closer, she walked forwards and bumped into Sora, pretending that she had only just arrived. Sora looked up at Rue for a second before seeing the tears beginning to flow from her eyes. Before she could say anything, Sora walked away. She watched her walk away before turning towards Bela.

The blonde had her fists clenched. It was painfully obvious that she was trying not to breakdown as tears started to overflow and roll down her cheeks. Rue didn't move, afraid of what Bela might do if she gets to close. Eventually, Bela's breath became ragged and she could hold back her tears. She burst into a swarm of flies, flying past Rue before she could even blink.

She looked towards the direction Bela went in but she was gone.

That was almost two weeks ago and Sora had left Castle Dimitrescu. Rarely anyone had seen Bela since then and when someone did, she'd either ignore them or snap at them. Even her own family rarely saw her at the dinner table and would deliver her food personally most of the time. But she'd only take small bite of food here and there but never ate a full plate.

Currently, Rue was bringing the girl a bowl of strawberries covered in chocolate that she had found in the kitchen. She knocked on the door of the girl's room. ''Lady Bela? It's me, Rue. I brought you something. May I come in?''

There was no answer so she knocked again, asking one more time if she could come in but she received no response. After waiting for about a minute, she hesitantly opened the door and peeked inside. The room was a bit smaller than Lady Dimitrescu's personal chambers. There was a portrait of Bela on one of the wall with Cassandra's signature on it. There were shelves of books with some of them spread out on the floor along with sheet music. The bed near the window had multiple pillows and a large duvet with a canopy. Bela was laying down, curled in a ball with the duvet covering her.
