Part 8: The Stingray

Arthur, Pike and Bill were in the bar in Compton, and it was a real freak show. There were bikers, pirates, smugglers, and bandits here and there.

"Table for three please." Arthur told the waiter.

"Right this way. Arthur bumped into a thin topless man with a ragged grey vest.

"Watch it." The man looked like he was going to hurt Arthur, as he was drawing his machete.

"One more move and you'll be DEAD!" The man tried to slit Arthur's throat, but Arthur drew his red plasma blade and cut the man's arm off.

"Hey, no knives!" The bartender shouted. He did not know what Arthur's weapon was, since he had never seen a Shaolin Mage in his life.

"Hey hey you you!" A female voice shouted. "I want to be your girlfriend!" The voice came from a woman with long brown hair and a brown fedora and coat. She looked like some kind of treasure hunter or smuggler. She was with a big black man in purple. Bill, Pike and Arthur came to sit with her.

"Hey, I am Penny Jenkins, or you can call me Pen." The girl shook Bill's hand. "This is my pal Theodore Johnson, or you can call him Teddy Johnson, or just Big T."

"Hey Big T, how's it going?" Pike told Big T.

"Hey brother." T spoke in his deep booming voice. "I am Big T of the Grape Gang, and I am all that's left of the Grape Gang after Orcana wiped the hood clean."

"So there used to be gang wars in the hood, but Orcana wiped them clean?" Pike asked. "Cool story bro."

"There were the Grape Gang, the Coconut Crew and the Kiwi Crew, but Orcana's secret police gunned them all down, leaving only me remaining."

"Who are Orcana's secret police?" Bill asked.

"They are the Penguin Patrol." Penny explained. "They are guys in blue uniforms with penguin masks. They capture, interrogate, imprison and even execute political dissidents. They were originally meant to defend the cultural heritage of Orcana, but all they do is herd the population like a bunch of cattle."

"I thought they were actual penguins." Bill commented.

"Orcana has actual penguins, but they are known as the Flying Penguins, who are penguins that have jetpacks and wield laser blasters that can be fired with their flippers." Penny mentioned.

"So what brings you to Compton?" Big T wanted to know why Bill and his team were in Compton.

"We were looking for an Ultimato." Pike clarified.

"I know something about an Ultimato." Penny explained. "Legend has it that the Ultimato was forged by the Aztecs over 800 years ago. In 1542, when Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo and his crew entered the San Diego Bay, The Aztecs took the Ultimato and carried it deep in a cave in Mount San Antonio, hiding it where Juan and the Spanish Armada could never get it, and legend has it people are still searching for it to this day."

"How did you know this?" Arthur asked.

"I read it in a book that was in my ship." Penny led everyone to her ship that was parked outside.

"Meet my airship known as The Stingray." It was a large airship that was shaped like a stingray.

"That's the biggest piece of garbage I ever seen." Bill remarked, but Penny slapped him.

"Don't talk about my ship like that!" Penny was mad at Bill. "She can reach speeds of 25,000,000 miles an hour, going around the world from London to the Bay and back in less than 8 hours."

"Hey!" Big T butted in. "I'm a mechanic, so I could take your Mothership and merge it with the Stingray. Are you ok with that?"

"I would prefer if you make it an escape pod for the Stingray instead." Pike told T.

"You got it." T was working on converting the Mothership into an escape pod, but Orcana Orca robots arrived.

"Orcana robots!" Pike alerted. Bill used his fire abilities to scorch the Orcana robots. Pike pulled out his ray gun and fired it at the Orcana robots. The second wave of Orcana robots arrived, this time some small Walrus Tanks arrived.

"Walrus Tanks!" Penny alerted. She threw some charges onto the tanks, blowing them up. More Walrus tanks arrived.

"More tanks!" Penny shouted. "How much longer, T?"

"Not much longer!" T was almost done with the conversion while Bill and his team were holding off the Orcana forces. Arthur was using his fire attacks to roast the tanks, while Pike and Penny were shooting at the tanks.

"Got it!" T announced. "Everyone into the Stingray!" Everyone boarded the Stingray as the ship was prepared for takeoff. Surprisingly, Bill got a call from Emma.

"Help me!!" Emma screamed. "I am being held captive aboard a flying humpback ship headed for England!"

"What's the problem?" Bill asked.

"They want to take over England and once they are done, they want to sell me into slavery to a British crime lord known as Baron Diamondback."

"So he's a snake man?" Bill questioned.

"Indeed so." Emma answered. "Long story, gotta go, bye!" Emma hung up.

"We need to go to save my friend, she is in danger!" Bill told Penny.

"What about the Ultimato?" Penny mentioned.

"The Ultimato can wait, my friend cannot!" Penny just went along with it and flew the ship to board the Humpback ship to save Emma.
