The Orca

Part 14: The Dreadnought

The Stingray was headed for Les Grands in Versailles, but something caught Penny's eye.

"Sorry boys, the king's going to have to wait." Something big was trying to lay siege to the palace.

"What is so big that confronting the king is put on hold?" Emma saw a large tank-dreadnought machine approaching the walls of Versailles.

The dreadnought tank was shaped like an orca whale, with cannons mounted on its sides and a large cannon in its mouth.

"Another orca." Emma sighed. "But this time it's a tank."

"Whatever it is, it's going to break through the walls of Versailles! We have to alert the general in charge!" The Stingray touched down at the base inside the walls, as everyone got out.

"What are a bunch of street hooligans doing in our base?" The Saurian General known as General Garnier confronted them, demanding an explanation.

"There is a giant Orcanian tank trying to penetrate the wall." Penny explained. "We need your help to bring it down."

"Your help is not needed at this time." Garnier was overconfident that he could hold his own against the tank. "Since Sauria was founded, many have tried to invade Versailles, but none have succeeded."

"None?" Pike was shocked.

"None, zero, absolutely no one has penetrated Versailles since Saruia was founded, that's why it is known as the Invincible Fortress Capital."

Meanwhile, the large orca tank opened its mouth. The commander that sat at the cockpit of the tank was none other than the second prince of Orcana, Lucian Oswald, seen with black hair and an elegant white suit with a purple shirt.

"Prince Lucian, our mission is almost complete." The warminster spoke to the prince. "This massive tank is an engineering feat beyond anything the world has seen. "Once we fire the cannon, the Orcanian troops will storm Versailles and you can capture Sauria in the name of your father."

"I get to be Daddy's boy!" The prince was proud of himself, living up to his father's legacy.

"Ready the cannon countdown." The warminster announced. "Ten...Nine...Eight...Seven....Six...Five...Four....Three....Two...One....OPEN FIRE!" The cannon fired, busting a hole in the wall of Versailles.

"Now do you need our help?" Penny asked in a sassy tone.

"Yes." Penny and her team got in the Stingray, preparing to land on the tank. Once they landed on the tank, they got inside, trying to hatch a plan.

"Ok, how are we going to blow this thing up." T pulled out a crowbar and smashed some electronic panels.

"What are you doing. T?" Emma scolded T.

"Something this big needs engineers to run it, so when something breaks, they fix it." An engineer went to repair the panels, but Penny tied him up and gagged him.

"Thanks for the plans!" Penny joked. Emma picked up some charges from the engineer's belt.

"Ok, listen here." Penny brought the group to a huddle. "According to this map, the reactor core is located at the bottom floor at the center of the tank, so we need to place charges on the engine. When that happens, we have 5 minutes to escape before the timer runs out, and then...." Penny was interrupted.

"Boom!" T shouted. "It all comes crumbling down!" The team followed the map to the reactor, but there was an announcement over the radio.

"System alert!" The warminster announced. "An engineer was ambushed and his equipment was stolen! We have intruders!"

"Let's go, boys!" Julian and his Royal Guards who wore purple coats, aviators and purple berets responded to the call. When Penny and her team were in the reactor room, Julian pressed a button to lock them in there.

"Well, well well." Julian uttered in his slick and low pitched voice. "Seems that Bill's cheerleader squad decided to follow in his footsteps and wreck our second Orca!" Julian flipped his hair and did a martial arts stance. "By the way, we have not introduced ourselves. I am Prince Julian Oswald, son of Oscar Oswald and heir to the throne of Orcana."

"I am Penny, and this big guy is T, and these are Emma and Pike." Penny introduced her team.

"Let's cut the chatter and get to the us kicking your ass!" Pike was ready to put up a fight.

"Get 'em, boys!" Julian sent his guards after Penny, but she used her laser gun to shoot one in the chest. T used his crowbar to knock some guards out, while Pike used his laser gun to shoot the guards' heads. Emma used her twin daggers to slice at  the guards. After all the guards were dead or out of commission, Emma charged at Julian. Julian defended with a sound blast, knocking Emma over, but she rolled back on her feet. Penny set the charges while Emma and Julian were busy fighting. Emma stole a stun baton from one of the royal guards and stunned Julian. She pressed the button to unlock the door.

"Everyone outside, we got 5 minutes to escape this place!" They ran to the top floor, opened the hatch to the roof, and jumped in the Stingray. After Julian recovered from the stun baton, he ran to an escape pod.

The dreadnought tank exploded in a fiery blaze, blowing up in a giant fireball, killing all those who were inside. The Stingray flew away from the explosion, flying from the fiery flames.

"Yes!" Emma cheered. "We did it!"

Meanwhile, Julian escaped on an escape pod, bound for Les Grands.

"They may have blown up the tank, but when it comes to the overall battle for Sauria, I am the real winner after all!" Julian just smiled his evil smile as he flew on the escape pod to the palace. Julian had a plan up his sleeves to capture Sauria's capital in the name of Orcana, giving Orcana a huge advantage in the war.
