Your mom had been really good friends with the Mayor. He was coming over tonight for dinner to discuss the plans for the town. You on the other hand had been extremely excited. You loved older men, and only because of your huge crush on the mayor. He was the only exception. There was no denying, you really wanted him.

When he comes over, you were planning to tell him your feelings. It's a long shot, especially with the fact that you are quite a couple years younger than him. You couldn't help how you felt. You needed to tell him, maybe there's a slight chance you could be with him.

You decided to wear something extremely nice. You wanted to impress him. You wanted him to see you as a woman. You knew you were mature enough for him, you just hoped he would see it too.

"Oh hell no. Why are you dressed like that?" Your sister asked you rolling her eyes. "Because I can—"

"Do not tell me—you are trying to impress the Mayor again. Do you really think he'll fall for you just because you decided to dress slutty? Mom will never allow you to wear that! Especially because he's coming over." Your sister said laughing at you.

"Okay whatever, but in all honesty, I look hot and you know it- and he would honestly love this look on me. Don't you think?"

"He'll love that you dress like an absolute slut? Come on now. No man likes that."

"Damn okay chill. You seem mad at me." You said looking at your sister.

"Sorry I just think..you shouldn't fall for the mayor. It would look bad on his part, because he's the mayor and he's older than you. You can't be in a relationship with him..you know that." She said looking at you concerned.

"Whatever." You ignored her and went downstairs. Hearing the doorbell, you knew who it was. You opened the door and smiled at him. "Hey..look who it is. The favorable mayor.." you said looking at him up and down.

"Wow you—-look nice." He said smiling as he walked in looking at you. "Thanks.." you said blushing. "Do you really like it?"

"Well of course. You are extremely beautiful. Just like your mom." It threw you off so bad, when he mentioned your mom.

And then it hit you .

"Is he into my mom?" You questioned yourself feeling a bit jealous.

"Can I ask you a question?" You said looking at him.

"Well your already asking so go ahead."

"Are you and my mom dating? Is that why your over?" You asked him.

"Uh..we wanted to tell you and your sister together at dinner but I'm guessing you've already figured it out." He said scratching his head a bit awkward.

Your heart sunk as you heard those words.

"Oh..great.." you said in disappointment.

"Do you hate that?"

"Yeah I do but not for the reasons you'd think.."

"Can I ask why?" He said looking at you.

You couldn't explain with words so you tiptoed and leaned in giving him a soft kiss.

He looked at you surprised and slowly pulled away. "W-what are you doing?"

"I'm in love with you..I have been for the longest while..and I'm jealous, I'm jealous that you and my mom are a thing because I was planning on telling you how I feel tonight..but it had to come out like this.." she said sighing.

"I'm sorry but..your just so young and I love your mom.."

Your heart broke as he told you that.

"I know.." you said sighing.

Your mom smiled and came down to greet you and the mayor.

"Hey guys ready for dinner?"

"Yep.." you said awkwardly as you walked away.
