you and Georgia had been married for quite some years after Georgia had left Zion, but you and Georgia were like fire and rain. You were always on the opposite side of things, with different opinions.

Which caused you to argue in the past. It was mutual that you and Georgia wanted a divorce. You were going to file, but Austin saw you holding the documents and his eyes grew sad and tired. "Mama, are you really going to divorce my mom?" He said tugging your shirt and hugging you.

A part of you knew that Ginny and Austin would be devastated if you got a divorce. You two wanted to stick together for the kids. You didn't have the most healthiest relationship, but Georgia was always there for you and you were always there for her and the kids.

"Well honey I don't know, things are complicated between me and your mom—"

"Please I don't want you to leave. You're the second best mom in the world, and I want it to stay that way."

But hearing Austin's sweet little voice, it was so hard to get a divorce after him trying to convince you. You knew it would be cruel to divorce Georgia and leave after Austin asked you to stay.

You didn't know what to do.

Ginny already knew you were planning the divorce.

-

You were in the room on your laptop thinking about your decision. "So are you really going to leave?" Ginny said standing by the side of your door. " why do you really want me to stay?"

" it's not just me mama, Austin wants you to stay. I know you really want to divorce Georgia, and you have every right to it's your decision, but think about us. If not me then think about Austin he really wants you to stay and he loves you so much ever since you came into our lives, Austin has been really happy. He's been doing good."

"I know, I've changed you're lives. It would be selfish of me to just leave. I don't want to either, but things between me and your mom won't get any better. If we're not fighting, we still always have different opinions on everything. I don't know why we decided to get married, or why we thought this could ever work." You replied.

" but I think it could work I think you and Georgia just need to figure it out together and I have an idea you both could go to couples therapy and heal together. It would be the best thing for the both of you and I think it could really fix your relationship. When  me and mom we're going through  struggles and it was really hard for the both of us, we went to therapy together and it really fixed our relationship as mother and daughter and i think it could help the both of you.." Ginny responded.

"You're right. Therapy could help, your mom didn't really believe in therapy when she was younger. Georgia thought she could always fix things herself and help herself but therapy does work. I just don't know if your mom is going to agree to this. I don't know if she even wants to fix things between us." You told her.

" I think that Georgia will come around. She wants the best for her kids and if she realizes that Austin wants you to stay, can you show me things work and go to therapy with you just for Austin." Ginny told you smiling.

"Alright. I hope so." You said.

-
Georgia came knocking on you're door. "Yes?" You said from the outside. "Can I come in?" Georgia says in her southern accent. "Yep. Doors open."

Georgia walked right in and looked at you. "Did you try and convince my kids to let you stay? Do you want us to do couples therapy so bad? I thought you wanted to divorce me? I thought you didn't want to fix this relationship." Georgia said rolling her eyes.

" OK please don't start. Yes, I want to fix this relationship between us, but i didn't try to convince your children to let me stay. Austin wants me to stay. He was begging me not to leave and file for divorce. I'm doing what's best for the kids. They really want me to stay. I'll try to fix things with you and work it out."

"I just want the kids to be happy but I do love you,  and i want to fix this relationship, I just never knew how and filing for divorce was the easiest way out so that's what I was gonna do." You told Georgia.

"I want to fix things too..it's just been hard y/n.." Georgia said coming to the bed and hugging you.

Therapy.
You had and Georgia were at therapy, like you promised Ginny. Trying to work things out. "Okay so now tell me the problem? I'm here to help the both of you." The therapist dr Jenny said.

"We can never see eye to eye on anything. We are always on opposite side of the team, and it sucks, because it always leads us to fighting. I don't wanna fight, she makes it so hard." You told dr Jenny.

"Okay how about you?" The therapist asked Georgia. "It's because she's never on my side, I want her to be, but she always chooses different from me. It hurts me."

"Okay. Well it seems like what the both of you need is very simple. Georgia sometimes we're not gonna have the same opinion as the people we love and that's okay, it doesn't mean they love us any less however it could cause a lot of conflict and y/n, you could try to compromise with Georgia so that it doesn't lead to a big conflict that way everyone is happy." Dr Jenny told the both of them.

"I guess I could try and compromise if it could help fix whatever we've got going on."

"Alright.." Georgia said.

"Okay let's try this. Give me your opinion on cats and dogs. Which one do you like?"
The therapist asked Georgia. "I like dogs."

"Okay and what do you like y/n?"

"I like cats!"

"But dogs..are much more cuter!" Georgia responded.

"See this is what I mean.." y/n told Georgia and the therapist.

"Okay Georgia you also have to learn how to compromise. Okay. Here's an example. I like cats and my friends like dogs. Even though we don't like the same things we can compromise by letting our friend have their own opinion about the animal they like and stick to liking our own. We
don't  have to like the same animal as them but we don't fight them for liking the same animal either, understand?" The therapist asked the both of them.

"I get it now." Georgia replied smiling at the therapist and at y/n.

"That's good. We will be better at this. It's all about compromise." Y/n responded.

After the therapy session things went great. Georgia and y/n had made up, and decided they would compromise, even if they saw different sides of things. When they got home they told Ginny and Austin the good news.

"We're not getting divorced! Therapy has
Helped the both of us. We will learn to compromise, isn't that right darling?" Georgia asked y/n.

"Yes!" Y/n replied.

They all leaned in for a hug and hugged each other as a family.
