You and Marcus chilled in you're backyard while you rolled his weed. He looked at you. "So you really like me? Like since elementary?"

"Yep." You told him while concentrating on rolling his weed. "But like how come I've never noticed? We've known each other for so long and I always thought you just liked sticking by my side because of how lonely you were."

"Well I was a lonely kid but I followed you everywhere because of how in love I was with you."

He laughed at what you just said.

"What's funny?" You said looking at him.

"I just didn't think you liked someone as dorky as me. I mean I wasn't cool back then." Marcus told you.

"I didn't care about all of that. I still don't. I don't care about who you are, I'm in love with you and that's that." You light the weed and took a puff passing it to him.

He smiles and hugs you. "Thanks."

But it was so friendly and unlike him.

After you both finished smoking as he was getting up to leave, you pulled him back and hugged him from behind. "Don't leave. I've wanted you to stay with me for a long time."

He stares at you and turns around holding onto you. "I know and I'm sorry. I really really like you too, but I have a girlfriend." He kissed your cheek and left you.

With tears in your eyes you walked upstairs and covered yourself into your blanket bleeding away from existence.
