"Darling who was that at the door?" Your father asked looking at you. "I don't know if you remember the boy I use to hang out with when I was a kid, yeah it's him. His family knew we moved in this morning, so he came to drop off a cake." You told him smiling.

"Aw that's sweet of him, you still like him?" Your dad asked smirking at you.

"Dad! I don't like him.." you said looking away blushing.

"Yeah honey, I'm not an idiot. I knew ever since you two were young. He's you're first love. Im sure you heard though."

"That he has a girlfriend."

"Dad how do you know that?"

"His sisters social media."

"What the—how'd you get that?"

"Don't worry im up to date on the media. I know everything about you kids these days, besides you think I didn't see that you still follow Maxine."

"Fine fine." You said sighing.

You were on the phone with you're best friend telling her everything. " who could be his girlfriend? she's so lucky. Do you think maybe if I hadn't moved I would've had a chance with him?"

"Yeah I wish—I mean I don't wanna be a home wrecker or anything..I'm just deeply in love with him you know?"

You then went to try and find his social media, but he didn't have any. Obviously. He's Marcus baker, he didn't really like to socialize that way.
