"Hurry!" Dad yells hurrying towards our Ikrans, who are now visible.
"We're trying!" Loak grunts.
I've never run so fast in my life, my forest skills were coming in handy. We were only 30 feet away from them now. I could feel myself getting tired but the adrenaline rush helped me to keep pushing.
"Mom! They're after us!" Tuk screams, looking behind us from Moms arms.
I throw my head backwards and see a large group of Na'vi in army clothing chasing after us, somehow they are just as fast if not faster. As I turn my head back to face in front of me, I come in contact with a large tree root and fall to the ground. Neteyam notices, running back and helping me up. We had fallen behind but still had enough distance to get away safely.
"Thanks!" I yell.
"Thank me later!" Neteyam responds.
Everyone but Neteyam and I had made it to their Ikran, Mom and Dad wouldn't leave until they knew we were safe.
"Run guys!" Tuk cries.
I push myself even harder, sweat dripping from my face. Neteyam hops onto his Ikran gracefully, everyone was now waiting for me. I slow down, getting ready to jump onto my own Ikran before thinking. I couldn't leave everyone behind. Who knew what they'd do to them? I change my mind when I remember I'm putting my own family in danger. But by now its too late, I jump up onto my Ikran but get dragged back down by a Na'vi twice my height.
"LET ME GO!" I shout.
"Y/N!" My family screams.
Mom jumps off of her Ikran immediately, leaving Tuk with dad. She insists they fly away.
I kick and fight back but its useless. They are speedy, but they don't have the same experience as us. Mom is quick on her feet. She grabs her bow off her back, preparing an arrow and aiming near me. She realizes she can't release it since the chance of hitting me instead was too high.
"MOM! HELP!" I cry.
"TRUST ME DAUGHTER!" Mom replies, she turns a different direction and disappears. I gasp in confusion, How could she leave me? I continue to fight back, punching and hissing.
I continue to fight back, punching and hissing until I realize I already made it back to the Ocean Na'vi. They were still screaming and crying on their knees.
"This is your punishment for lying!" Quaritch grins.
A few human Na'vi use flamethrowers to light up Maruis. I hear louder sounds of fear and anger, my stomach flips. I've never heard such a gut wrenching sound. The Na'vi carrying me throws me to the ground harshly, near Quaritchs' feet.
"We got one" He boasts.
"Very good!" Quaritch praises.
He grabs me by my braids, forcing me to look at him. I hiss in pain.
"My Mom will kill you!" I attempt at intimidating Quaritch, but he laughs.
"We are armed with weapons you couldn't imagine! Your not going anywhere until I see your Dad.." He snarls.
I try to stay strong, but tears escape my eyes, I quiver. Quaritch continues to torment the Metkayinas, giving me time to look around. My eyes meet with Aonung, who is also down on his knees. He looks just as scared as me, he begins to sign to me.
"Are you ok? How did you get here?"
"My family will save us! My Mom is hiding with her bow! I reply
"Stop with that finger talk, now!" Quaritch demands.
"Tie her up!" He points to the ship they arrived on.
A tall Na'vi hurries into the ship and back out with rope in his hands.
"Don't move or we shoot the one you were signing to" He threatens looking at Aonung, grabbing my arms forcefully.
"Ow!" I flinch, the rope was tight around my wrists. I hear Aonung hiss.
Once he finishes, he returns to Quaritchs side.
I look at Aonung once again before glancing around at everyone and everything. Flickering colors of red and orange flames filled my vision. I couldn't believe my eyes.
"He's been hit!" I hear, snapping my neck to the side. A Na'vi in full clothing had been shot. With an arrow. Moms arrow.
Quaritch stares at the other Human Na'vis' gathering around the wounded one in horror. I could tell he recognized the bow as fast as I did.
"Neytiri.." He mumbles.
"Let's go! Grab the girl, she's coming with us!" Quaritch commands before heading off towards the boat.
"NO!" Aonung yells, seeing me getting dragged away once again. But this time toward the ship. He tries to stand up but someone points a gun at his head, forcing him back down before joining the other Human Na'vi.
I see mom run towards the water far in the distance, she hops onto an Ilu and dives into the water.
I flinch as I feel cold metal beneath me, I was on the ship.
I hear a loud groan before the ship begins heading away from the Island I had grew to love.
"WE HAVE YOUR DAUGHTER JAKE SULLY!" Quaritch taunts.
The same Na'vi that was dragging me attached the rope to the ship. I pulled but no matter how hard I tried it wouldn't budge.
My breathing picks up before remembering,
Mom was coming for me, and she wasn't happy..
It's started 😮.
