Valentine's Day special (again)

“You're awake? It’s Saturday?” Tageo asked just waking up; walking into the kitchen while I was on the computer

“I woke up an hour ago I needed to get a head start on Mateo’s Valentines gift” I told him drinking Francis black coffee that he told us to never touch or he’d kill us

“Another double date without me?” Tagoe asked while grabbing an energy drink from the fridge

“No Malcom and Lidia have their own plans and I know the perfect date for Mateo” I told him and kept typing away

“Cool, what 's the plan?” Tagoe asked and sat down next to me

“Well Mateo thinks we're just going to a movie and a dinner but I have the perfect gift my dork would absolutely loved”   I told him

“He’s been really into this author who coming into town and doing a book signing, so I’m buying his new book and a deluxe version of an older book with an bounds chapter and I’m taking him to his book signing” I explained and bought two tickets to the book signing

“Aw thats so cute and borning, have fun” Tagoe said and walked away

I rolled my eyes with a smirk on my face, I found the books at the bookstore Joel worked out, It was only like 15 minutes away so I could grab it before I had to pick up Mateo for our date at 3, I shut my computer.

Right then Malcom walked in shirtless but had sweatpants and was holding a rented tux he bought the day before that was in dry cleaner plastic.

“Lidia and Penny are coming over soon, So I need everyone to put on pants” Malcom said and gently placed the tux on the counter

I was already dress since I was about to head out but Tagoe groaned and walked back to his room to put on pants

“Going somewhere nice?” I asked as he takes the clothes out and started ironing everything

“Pfft no, Penny has a Valentines formal ball thing at her school and me and Lidia are chaperoning” Malcolm explained while ironing

“It starts at 1 but Lidia wants to eat before we go just in case the food stucks” Malcolm explained then we heard a knock at the door

I opened it expecting to see Lidia and Penny but instead I got Amiee dragging a suitcase

“Oh hey” I greeted her and hugged her as she let herself in

“What’s up?” I asked her as I closed the door

“The shower at my house is busted so I need to shower, shave, wash my hair, and  exfoliate my skin” Amiee explained as she pulled the suitcase she had closer to her

“All of that is just soap?” I asked confused

“Soap, conditioner, shampoo, make-up, hairdryer, hairbrush, combs, and I have my clothes neatly packed up too” Amiee told us

“We all have that stuff here” Tagoe told her as he walked back into the living room wearing pants this time

“You have boy stuff, that motor oil doesn’t wash or condition hair and none of you clean your brushes” Lidia said with a playful disgusted tone

“You have to clean brushes?” Malcom asked looking up looking from his ironing

Amiee just rolled her eyes with a small laugh

I knew Amiee had a date later tonight, I know because she called me yesterday and told me she was going on a date. She wanted to let me know ahead of time and the only question I asked was if it was Peck and once she said no I didn’t have any other questions.

The door knocked again and I opened it and this time I saw Penny and Lidia, Penny immediately hugged my legs then skipped instead.

Penny was wearing an red dress with spaghetti straps that was covered in white daisies, she had on white flip flops, and she had golden bracelet on

Lidia was wearing a sleeveless blue dress that went down to her feet, Malcolm walked in wearing his tux and I just noticed his tie matched Lidia’s dress and had two corsages one red one pink.

“Bye should be back by two” Malcolm said as they walked out

“I need to bounce, see ya later” I told Tagoe and grabbed my bike and started heading to the book store
