Our youth spurs us on, for in a moment we believe our years under the sun will be long, so in our youth we continue to march on,
But without wisdom through experience what was all the marching for?,
What did we learn under the moonlit nights that we did not rest?,
You see, in our youth we will make mistakes and from them we will grow and only by wisdom will your days be long, in wisdom you learn to forgive so that you can move on,
And that's what our elder years are for, knowing that from our past battles,
we learned right from wrong, what makes us happy in the end, and what can make enemies get along,
Wisdom is the one gift that we can pass on to the next generation in our lives,
so that those same young ones can learn the knowledge of truth to guide them in their days under the sun,
There's a time for battle and there comes a time in our lives when we must settle down...until then keep marching young dreamers...until the battle...is won....
