The snow falls gently up on the concrete, I watched it all from my bedroom window,A cup of hot chocolate in hand, a laid back jazz tune that plays on the radio,
a winter symphony on display outside,My favorite season of year, a nice blanket on the couch, that keeps me warm,
In this moment I have peace of mind,
It's comforting to watch the snow slowly fall into piles,A snowstorm that blankets all the cars, the streetlights look beautiful in the snowy late night hours,
A sip of hot chocolate to soothe the soul...as I doze off into a dream...the winter storm goes on outside...and in a moment that feels...very serene....
In a winter night's peace....- Matt Foster 2022©
