Barry (V.O.): In the year 2019, seven years from now, me and my friends faced a crisis that ended the multiverse. Oliver Queen; the green arrow, sacrifice his life to reboot the universe to give me a second chance. I am reliving Oliver's life after Lian Yu, which is mandarin  for purgatory. He wants me to keep his family safe, to save the multiverse, although I can't do it without a harem. To do this I must become what Oliver denied he was for years....

Alley Outside Verdant - Night

Roy slipped out the back door of the club and walked down the alley, stopping at a familiar utility pole. Reaching into his pocket, he withdrew the red flechette and jammed it into the wood before turning and walking back to the club.

Queen Consolidated - Night

Felicity got off of the executive elevator and walked briskly towards Barry's  office, where Isabel was busy giving him a tongue lashing- and not the pleasurable kind.

Isabel: You were supposed to sign this report at last night's board meeting. You know why you didn't?

Barry: Probably because I didn't attend last night's board meeting.

Isabel: Where were you?

Barry:You know I have family that lives 600 miles outside the city that I haven't really seen in over 7 years.

Felicity: Mr. Allen?

Isabel: I thought you were serious when you said we were partners.

Barry (Incredulously): Isabel, I missed one meeting.

Isabel (Hotly): This week. Last week, it was two meetings.

Felicity: Mr. Allen?

(Barry sighed and held up a finger, silently telling her to wait. Then he looked back to Isabel)

Barry: Companywide revenue is at double digits since you and I took over.

Felicity: Barry.

(She fixed both of their attentions on her)

Barry: Yes?

Felicity: I'm sorry to interrupt your... (She gestured with her hands) Grr! Um, I need to talk to you about your plans for this evening. With Mr. Harper?

(Barry blinked, then rose from his seat and buttoned his jacket)

Barry: You'll have to excuse me.

(He walked around his desk past her)

Isabel (Angry): We have work to do. It's important.

Barry: So are my evening plans. I'm sorry.

(He walked past her and out the door, Felicity trailing right behind)

Barry: We are going to have to work on your excuses.

Felicity: You're right.

Warehouse - Night

Several SUV's were pulling up and disgorging their occupants as Roy watched from a short distance away. He had his red hood up and was looking at the criminals as they milled about with a pair of high-powered binoculars.

Arrow: You should be more careful. (The Arrow came up behind the younger man) You're completely exposed.

Roy (Startled): I knew you were there.
