Chapter 2

Today is the day. They day to get close to Voldemort then kill him. I'm on my way to the great hall for breakfast. As I'm walking some of the students in the corridors turn their heads to see who I am. I have to wait outside the door for Dumbledore's signal. He thought it would be good if I had an entrance as an exchange student so I wouldn't blow my cover.

From behind the closed door, I hear Dumbledore saying "I have a special announcement this morning. We have an exchange student from Beauxbatons. May I introduce Clarie De la Fontaine!"

At that I open the doors and walk in. I feel all eyes on me as I make my way to the Slytherin table. I glance around and see the guys look at me like I'm the most beautiful thing they have ever seen. The girls however are glaring at me and holding their boyfriends close. As I continue to glance around, I see him. He's staring at me with curiosity and a little disgust.

Dumbledore walks over and tells me "Mr. Atticus Avery will be your escort around the school,". I see him nod over to this boy with curtain dirty blonde hair. He has eyes as blue as the ocean. He's rather handsome, pale and tall. He stood up and I could tell he was around 5'9.

He walks over to me and says "As Dumbledore said, I'm Atticus Avery" he holds out his hand for me to shake. I take it and say "I'm Clarie De la Fontaine but you can call me Clar"

He chuckles saying "Well it's a lot easier than De la Fontaine" I join in on his laughter.

"Would you like to meet my friends?" he nods over to a group of guys all tall.

"I would love to" I smile back at him.

We walk over to the group. I try to make eye contact with Voldemort but it seems as though he is ignoring me. He is looking at the entrance of the great hall as if it's the most interesting thing in the whole world. Pathetic.

"Are you finally attracted to something Riddle? " Atticus jokes.

This catches Voldemort's attention. "No, I'm simply wondering about something, Avery, '' he replies bitterly. He finally catches my eye but stops to roll his eyes. I'm sure people thought it was for the joke but I'm certain it was directed at me.

"Anyway this is Clarie or Clar for short, Clar the one with the luxurious hair that can make any woman on earth spiteful, is Valentine Rosier"

I will admit Rosier has luxurious hair with beautiful green eyes. I could tell he seemed nice

"Bugger off Avery" he says but with a hint of amusement in his voice. "Nice to meet you Clar" I simply smiled in return.

"That black haired ruffian over there is Malcolm Mulciber" he nods to black haired boy with green eyes. He looks a bit younger than the rest but still rather handsome. He is a bit closed off. He just nods at me without a word.

"The cheeky blonde boy is Do not" he nods to the blonde boy laughing. The blonde boy, who also looks younger like Mulciber, rolls his eyes.

"It's Dune Nott actually, pronounced Dun-e. Nice to meet you Clar" He smiles at me and I give one in return.

"The guy with the nice cheekbones over there is Vincent Lestrange" the boy he nods at is also handsome. He is looking straight at me. He looks into me with such intensity. I can't help but think if he was smiling at me the whole time.

"Nice to meet you darling" he says with a wink. I don't know him at all but he's looking at me like I'm an old friend. I can't help but blush a little. I just smile back sheepishly.

"The tall, dark and handsome one is Tom can't remember his middle name Riddle" Voldemort or Riddle I should say, scowls at Atticus.

"I told you to forget it Avery" he pays me no mind, like I'm invisible.

"I know but I love to push your buttons Riddle" Atticus laughs while Riddle continues to ignore me. Riddle gives Atticus a look and he stops laughing.

I know now that Riddle is their leader. Riddle's group is probably his future Death Eaters. He is already on his way to become Voldemort.
