It was the last day of 7th grade and 12 year old Amar Tonna had his headphones in, reading The Capture. It was the first book in the Gaurdians of Ga'Hoole series, and even though he had already read every book, he still loved them, and the movie.
'To The Sky', the song of the specific movie, played in his headphones as everybody around him was giggling and laughing. He heard crying friends, laughing kids, and ecstatic classmates all while it seemed so far away.
'To only be an owl. In the universe with The Band, and owls like Coryn, Soren, Ezylryb, and the others, a dream come true it would be to go there.' Amar thought, smiling.
Then it all happened so fast. Swerving tires, screams, and plunging into water.
Then all went black.
