Here here!" Amar's owl father, who he learned was fittingly named Purge, said as his owls erupted into cheers. "Now I know this is my lost son, so treat him with deserved respect here, or you will face the consequences. Welcome my son, Riyu!" He raised Riyu's talons and let the owls cheer. This time he didn't stop them.

These owls were cheering for him. He should be happy. Never had he imagined this would be happening to him. Never in his old life.

But he couldn't be happy. He was being cheered for because he was the son of the possibly new Metal Beak. No more Pure Ones. Now it was the Shadow Hunters.

And they didn't just use Tytos.

Every owl was in danger of being captured by them. He saw all kinds of owls, even those four from earlier. He could tell the boreal owl had been moon blinked. His eyes looked like the eyes of moon blinked owls in the movie. Glassy and almost like they were blind.

He still decided to check. Flying low, he followed the owl to a patch of shade. He landed in front of him, stopping him as other owls passed by. Most gave a small gesture of respect as they walked past.

"You." He said. "What's your name?" He thrust his wing into the owl's face. The owl stared at him. "36-8, Shadow Prince." The owl bowed in respect. Every single one of these owls knew who he was now. He didn't like the reason why.

"No, your name isn't a number! Come on, you have to remember. Your more than a number!" He quietly pleaded. The owl stared at him for a moment before babbling something out. "Naiku."

Riyu sighed. This owl could remember just a bit. That was better than nothing at all. He could possibly work on this owl. Then a vicious looking Spotted Owl swooped down behind them. "I'm truly sorry, Shadow Prince, but this owl must return to the glaucidium for moon blinking. Come along, 36-8."

The Spotted Owl led Naiku back to the glaucidum with all of the other moon blinked owls. No, why couldn't he stop them? Naiku would be stuck here forever!

"Riyu, come over here!" Purge shouted. "I'd like you to meet your mother, Sting."
