Taehyung's POV

"So for this assignment, I will pair you up with a random person. This is a much needed activity for young people like you. You really need to get out of your bubble." Professor Irene announced the worst thing as soon as I get up from bed and ran to class thinking I might get my ass beat by my brother.

"Interesting." Sehun said. He and I were in the same class so was Jennie but she skipped today for some reason.

"What's so interesting?" I asked.

"Maybe I will get a good date from this." He winked making me cringe. But I couldn't stop pulling his legs after she announced that he was paired with some random boy.

"Too bad I am straight."

"You deserve that."

"Let's see what you get." Sehun said.

Irene turned to me and some girl in the front. Guess it's a nerd going to be paired with me.

"Jisoo and Taehyung, you will be partnered for this assignment together and your topic is 'human emotions'.

I couldn't get a hold when I noticed Irene smirking right before she told us our topic.

I turned to see the girl in front. She sure looks determined and familiar.

"Wow." Sehun smirked. "Kicked the golds?" He told me as we were getting ready for lunch after the class.

Just then, Jisoo the girl I was partnered with, the same girl I mistaken for someone else last night appeared before me. Sehun patted my back before leaving with a smirk.

But before I could say any further she took my hand and gave something in my palm and left quickly just in seconds.

"Whoa- what was that?"

I opened the small piece of paper which had nothing but an address.

"Lunacafé?" I read it, quite puzzled. The time was written beside "3:00 pm?"

Cafeteria,

"Bro, what you doin here?" Sehun said staring at me. Beside him sat, Kai and Nayeon who were casually busy in their phones.

"You know what, Jennie's crow nest is the best thing I saw last night." Nayeon said. She still wasn't over yesternight.

"Last night?" Kai said without looking at anyone but his phone. He was probably texting some chicks.

"Talking about that, where did you left last night?" Sehun asked.

"I was with Joy. But then what happened last night?" Kai asked trying to be interested.

We were talking when I noticed Jisoo in the corner. Our eyes made contact in the most dreamy way. Jennie who wasn't looking at her front while walking suddenly bumped into Jisoo making her drink split on the ground.

"Hey! What did you just do?" Jennie screamed.

I witnessed the whole thing, so I quickly went over to them. As soon as I reached the spot, the two girls stared at me. Jennie approaching me said, "Tae, look what she did just now."

I looked at Jisoo who didn't gave a damn and said, 'Sorry, my bad." And left in seconds.

"What the-"

"It's okay. Let's go."

"Taehyung, why didn't you stopped her?"

"What?"

Jennie stared at me, little teared. Why didn't I stopped her?
