chapter nine

Taehyung's pov

It was time for Jisoo should get tired like any other girl out there. I was expecting her to get out from her act but she wasn't giving up any sooner.

"Tired?" I asked her waiting for a respond but she didn't. I turned back to see her looking up above the sky. I followed where her eyes were looking at. For some reasons, the sky wasn't brighter like few minutes ago.

"Jisoo.."

Suddenly, the crow's sudden bawling made both the two of us almost lose our souls out of our body. I took the chance to get close to Jisoo and pulled her towards me. Jisoo looked at me like an innocent bird.

"I thought we were supposed to do our assignment now." her voice spoke as I tried to reach out her other voice.

"Aren't we doing it right now?"

"What?" I wasn't wrong. Our topic was basically about human emotions and we were pretty much doing something the same. She didn't looked any scared but the way she stared at me made me confused.

Jisoo jerked my hand off her body. Well I wasn't trying to hurt her. I am a gentleman when it comes to protect girls.

"You are weird."

And that's what I got to hear.

"It's a scary place. Let's leave as soon as possible." Jisoo said.

"Are you scared or what?" I giggled although I knew she wasn't. She was pretty brave I must say. Maybe she's different from others but I wasn't satisfied right now. Maybe she's trying hard not to fall for me. By this time others girl always try to take advantage of me but why isn't she trying?

"Can we go back?" Jisoo asked, much serious than before. I took the sign.

"Sure. Let's go back."

This time, I tried to take her hand but her hands weren't easy to get. They were either a distance away for me no matter how I tried. She's really hard to get.

I drove Jisoo back to campus.

"Where do you live? I can just drop you there."

"I can go by myself." She said and left leaving me speechless. Her hair looked pretty when the wind tried to take them away.

After Jisoo left, Sehun came and joined me for a ride.

"Yo I just saw."

"Wat?"

"Did you had fun in your little date?"

"She's playing hard to get."

Sehun chuckles. "Serves ya right. Anyways, there is more spectical going on."

"What about it?"

"There is a serial killer going around so better be careful."

"What? You kidding?"

"No, a girl was killed in the same manner like the other victims. And you know where it happened? The recent one died in the forest nearby our university's forest."

"Shit."

"What happened?"

"Today we went to the same forest."

"Wait what? That means.."

"We were quite nearer the killer?"

"Nah, man. The killer probably left long ago."  Sehun tried his best to assure me.

"You are right. No killer comes back to crime scene."

"He will if there's any evidence left."

Meanwhile, the same forest..

It was quite dark in the forest. A shadow appeared under the moonlight, stepping on the grass moving towards the same cottage where the murder was committed. The dark shadow went in and looked around the place. Then it went near a window where a drawer existed. It moved the drawer and a small piece paper was found. The shadow looked around for witness and left when he found none.
