chapter fourteen

While the entire club was engaged in chaos, Jisoo was peacefully sleeping in the passenger seat of Taehyung's brand new Porsche. Although Jisoo was drunk, she could hear noises that woke her eyes momentarily. Taehyung walked towards the car and drove out of the parking lot as soon as possible.

"Where are we?"  Jisoo yawned.

"Jisoo.."

Jisoo heard her name in a familiar voice.

"Taehyung? It's you again!"

"....don't drink anymore."

"What? Why?" She snapped back at Taehyung who had no time to listen to her drunk talks.

Taehyung drove his car in the highway. From his expression, he wasn't just restless but nervous. He took one look at Jisoo and then he blabbered something to himself.

Next morning, Jisoo woke up in the fluffiest bed she could imagine. When she realised that she wasn't in her own bed, she almost scream until she noticed the interior of the place she was in. She tried to remember the events from the last night. The last person she saw was definitely none other than Taehyung. Jisoo cover her mouth with her hand in shock.

"There's no way. There's literally no way!" She quickly get off the bed and before that she checked her clothes. Thankfully they were still on. Jisoo tried to walked without making any sound but it wasn't helpful at all. Taehyung was already sitting in the living room waiting for her to show up.

"You woke up?"

"You?"

"Why are you surprised?"

"Why am I here?"

"Because you never told me your address?" He added a question in the end making her confused.

"I thought...wait why do you need to know my address?"

"You are really... anyways there's more subtle matter to discuss."

"What's so subtle other than this? Do you know it is a crime to bring a girl to a stranger's home without her permission?"

"Yeah but at that moment I had no choice. You were literally drunk."

"Me? Drunk?" Jisoo remembered the last night events. From Jackson to part time events, Jisoo was on her way back home when she bumped into someone which was none other than Taehyung. She had no idea what he was doing there but the next thing he did surprised her. He invited her to a hotpot restaurant. Jisoo couldn't believed him until they entered. There she confronted him of stalker. At that time, the thoughts of Jackson didn't left her mind at all so she decided to drink a little. From little to the whole bottle of soju, Jisoo remembered every inch of the memory of getting memories. She remembered saying things she wasn't supposed to. Jisoo took one look at Taehyung who shrugged at embarassed Jisoo.

"I think I remember being in your car last time. Thank you for not leaving me in the hotpot restaurant with the bill attached to my head."

"Now you know." Taehyung said.

"Okay. Leave that. What about the more subtle matter?" Jisoo said sitting a little away from him.

"Something happened last night.."

"What happened last night? Don't tell me.."

"It's not about us but it's kinda related to us...I think."

"Spill the tea. I'm getting anxious."

"Someone was murdered last night."

"What!!!"

"It's one of my friends."

"Whatt!!?"

"The police said it was the same shadow murderer."

"What? How can be you so calm about it."

"I'm not calm..inside I'm frightened more than you think I am."

"What about the person? Is he from our university?"

Taehyung nods. "Kai was killed by the same dark killer who killed more than 6 people in a row. And since, Kai is close to us... I think.."

"There's no way, we saw something that didn't wanted us to see."

"Do you remember anything?"

"I don't really..."

"It's okay as long as you don't, it's better."

"Just how the killer is killing people?"

"I don't know. Nobody knows except the killer."

The two remained silent for a while until Jisoo stood up.

"I am going home."

"Let me drive you home."

Jisoo nods.

The two walked towards the door when they heard something outside the door.

"There's someone outside?"

"Get inside."

"I think you are one scaredy cat. The killer can't just show up all of a sudden!"

"You really think he's stupid?"

"How do you know it's he?"

"Whatever. She?".

"He!"

"She!"

Suddenly the doorbell buzzed loudly surprising the two of them.

"Who could be at this hour?" Jisoo asked.

Taehyung opened the door to a sobbing female waiting outside the door.

"Jennie?"
