Narnia was never a place Y/n intended on visiting, in fact, she never knew it existed until a week ago, when her world was shifted to a different reality, literally.

A month ago in America - Monday, March 23, 2023, -

"I don't understand why you always have to act like a brat, I do everything for you, can't you treat me with a little respect?" My mother yelled up the stairs to my sibling, this was a usual activity my mother liked to pursue. But I suppose in her defense my Siblings did deserve it. They acted like kings in a house of peasants and hardworking soldiers. I turned around on my bed to face the wall, turning the music higher and closing my eyes. Only a few moments later I felt foot stomps coming closer to my door, when I turned over it was my mom practically yelling at me to go to school. I nodded my head and got out of bed putting on some clothes, "bye" I spoke quietly so no one would hear, when I got on the bus I put my headphones back on and started to listen to music again. My school didn't have a bus that came out far enough to my neighborhood, so I had to take the public bus until I got close to a different school where I would walk for a little and get on to the real school bus. When I told my friend this was how I got to school she seemed shocked and said that it was dangerous. But it's not, or at least for me, she's living like a king and if she got on the bus with all that pride then maybe it would become dangerous.

When I hit the 10-minute mark on the bus I looked down at my watch to check the time. I might be late today, oh well. "Hello Miss, do you mind if I sit here?" an older man looked down at me, usually I would be creeped out, but this man held kindness in his eyes which triggered me to say yes and move my bag. He groaned as he sat down and I continued to watch the moving trees with gloom covering my eyes. "What's wrong dear, you're so transparent your emotions are pouring out in colors." he chuckled with a whispery breath. I looked at him and smiled lightly, "am I transparent?" he chuckled, grasping onto his chest. "Yes, but being so transparent and showing those emotions, allows people to know you're still human." I smiled and twisted my thumbs. He turned around to stare at the seat for a moment, "I knew some kids who were like you once." I hummed and looked at him with a smile. "Really?" he nodded. "They all had traits to make them fit for kings and queens. The oldest boy was High King Peter the Magnificent Emperor, and the oldest sister, Susan, was the gentle Marksman. The second boy, Edmund was the Just Duke, and Little Lucy was valiant. These siblings were the kings and queens of Narnia."

I smiled and looked at him, "What happened to them?" he looked down and then at me "They were sent back home where they wait to be called again to save their people." I looked out the window and noticed my stop had arrived quicker than expected. "This is my stop, thank you for the story, I hope to meet you again so I can hear the rest of it." he smiled and nodded his head, "I wish the same, Y/n, who knows maybe you'll meet them?" I let out one more small laugh and then walked away, confusion about how he knew my name clouded my mind, how strange.

When I reached school, I went to my designated classes and then to lunch, they mostly had slop so I took out the sandwich I made and a bag of chips I bought from the vending machine. I allowed my headphones to pour music into my ears while I sat next to my friend Rose who was talking to her minions about all the things she got for her birthday. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Rose is one of the richest people in school. I don't even know how we became friends. She probably wanted me to praise her as a minion but found out I'm cool. "Rose, I think I'm gonna go for a walk." she paused her speech and looked at me "Okay, want me to come?" I shook my head and grabbed my bag. The one good thing about our school is that it has a garden right next to its property. This garden is open to all the students as long as they don't smoke around the flowers.
