MISSY's POV

We returned inside at midday to make lunch, which we decided would be some pork gyros. Aunty Jenni and I got out all the ingredients while Louisa looked up what they were on her phone, she's heard me go on about them before but never actually had one, which when I heard I was shocked, but theres a  first time for everything eh?

"Missy there isn't any tzatziki left, could you go into Sidari to get some more" Aunty Jenni asked.

"Okay can me and Lou take the bikes?" I asked, to which I gained a nod in reply as she gave me 3 euros.

"See you soon!" I waved goodbye as me and Louisa walked out the side door of the house and got my bike and my old one.

"Okay so where exactly is this Sidari?" Lou asked.

"Oh its just down the road, it will take us about 5 minutes to bike to the shop I'm thinking" I spoke.

"Okay so not far" She spoke as we started speeding down the road. The wind blessed our hair as we pedalled fast. I started laughing as I took my hands off the handlebars, only to almost fall so quickly placed them back down.

I skidded to a stop outside of an old shop and got off my bike, Louisa following suit.

"Hello Nikos, have you got any tzatziki?" I spoke to the man behind the counter.

"Ah Alicienthos, of course I do!" He smiled as he handed me a pot of some.

"How much?" I asked.

"3 euros" He replied. I handed him the money "Thank you Alicienthos"

I nodded and left with Lou, as we sped down the long road back home.

"Got it!" I spoke as I placed it down on the kitchen counter. Aunty Jenni smiled and started cooking, and said that Akis and Tom were about to watch a film if we wanted to join them. I instantly ran into the front room and jumped over the back of the sofa to sit next to Tom, leaving a space for Louisa between me and Akis. She sat down and Tom opened Disney+ on the tv.

"Okay so Lilo and Stitch?" I asked.

"What no? I was gonna watch The Walking Dead!" He replied.

"Give it here" I tried to grab the remote, and we ended up ditching it and getting into a full on playfight on the sofa laughing our heads off while Akis and Lou just looked concerned.

"How do you deal with 2 of them?" Louisa asked.

"I don't even know" he sighed.

We eventually stopped when we got called for lunch, and I ran to the table. As I sat down, I heard the front door open and I immediately ran to hug my uncle.

"Uncle Kosta! Your just in time for lunch, also my bestie is here" I ran back into the kitchen.

He walked in behind me and sat with us at the table, to my right with Lou sat to my left. "Louisa isn't it?" he smiled.

"Yeah its nice to meet you" She smiled.

We ate our gyros, and then me and Lou went up to my room.

"It's barely gone mid-day yet Im so tired" I yawned, flopping on my bed.

"Well knowing you you'll be lively as fuck later" She giggled.

"True, true" I smiled "Hey do you wanna go to the Melinda mirage pool!" I asked.

"Sure" she smiled, running to grab some swimwear.

We picked out our swimming costumes and put them on, with our normal clothes on top, grabbing towels to put in our bags as well. I called to my aunty that we were going to go to Melinda and asked Akis to drive us there, he gladly agreed and him and Tom decided to hang with us there. We drove the way to Melinda and eventually parked outside the resort. The owners always let us hang here, as aunty Jenni works here.

We walked past lots of apartments and eventually came up to the pool. Tomas and Akis took their shirts off and jumped in, while me and Louisa placed our bags on some sun loungers and took our shirts and shorts off, leaving us in our bathing suits. We walked in and sat by the edge of the pool, are legs in the water.

"Are you getting in or what?" Tomas laughed.

"We are in! Well at least our legs are" I shouted over to him. He gave Akis a look, and they swam over Tom picking me up and Akis picking up Louisa and throwing us in the pool.

"What the fuck was that for?!" Louisa sassed, Tom and Akis just laughing. I did my classic eye roll smirk and shot underwater, swimming straight forward taking out Tom's legs causing him to fall underwater.

"That's what you get bitch" I smirked, Louisa and I high-fiving each other and laughing. I loved being able to see my cousins every day, they were basically my brothers and its always nice to have someone around when you don't have many friends, well ones that living in a fair distance anyway.

We chilled out at the pool for a while, playing volleyball and all sorts. I looked around hearing a sweet voice, and saw a boy around my age, with blonde hair and the bluest eyes ever. I've always been one to think of love as some sort of stupid fantasy we all had as teenagers that would never actually turn out that way, but that fantasy just sparked in me again, and I felt my cheeks burn up as he looked over to me staring.

"Missy, what was that!" Lou laughed as I saw the ball fly over my head and hit the handsome boy.

"Oh shit- Uh sorry!" I called, walking over to get the ball.

"It's okay, here" He spoke as he handed me the ball.

"I- thank you" I smiled, walking back over to the others. As I swam back, I was greeted by Akis and Tomas squabbling like the brothers they are about god knows what, and neither do I want to know.

Me and Louisa walked out of the pool and over to the sun lounger where we placed our stuff, wrapping our towels around us as our teeth chattered. Once dry, we layed back on the sun loungers to let the suns golden rays hit us. Me and Lou chatted about everything until I decided to go get us some drinks.

As I walked around the outside of the pool to the bar, I locked eyes with the mysterious boy again, I smiled politely and continued to the bar. I ordered 2 cocktails for me and Lou, getting a discount as my aunty worked here. I smiled at the bartender and walked back to where me and Louisa were chilling, handing her her drink.

"Yia mas" I said as we put our drinks together, and we took a sip. The beautiful liquid met my lips and the taste sent butterflies into my stomach, but good butterflies. If it stayed like this, I could tell this would be one hell of a summer.
