MISSY'S POV

I didn't know what was going through my head, but I just felt a surge of butterflies as I walked up the stairs quiet, careful not to wake anyone up. I walked in and saw Louisa on her bed on her phone.
"You're back!" She sat straight up.
"You didn't have to stay awake" I scolded her, not wanting her to be tired.
"So how was your date" Lou questioned me.
"It wasn't a date just a friendly dinner" I responded.
"Then why was it just you two" She smiled, thinking she got me.
"I don't know, maybe to get away from you" I smirked, knowing I'd got her when her jaw dropped.
"Just spill the tea!" She exclaimed.

And that's exactly what I did, I went through a replay on what is probably one of the best nights of my life.
"And as he went to leave he brought me into this big hug, and like everyone knows I love hugs! And then he called me 'meine liebe' which I swear means 'my love' but Im probably mistaken but you know" I rambled, a big smile on my face.
"So no kissing?" Louisa made a face.
"What no ew" I tried to keep a straight face, though it turned extremely red.
"But you would want to though" She smirked, to which I just shook my head, I used to think the thought of kissing someone was absolutely disgusting, but now I'm not so sure.

"So what did you get up to?" I asked, surely she didn't sit on her phone all that time.
"Oh me and your cousins just played some video games" She spoke, but I could tell from the way she wouldn't hold eye contact with me that wasn't just it.
"Go on tell me what happened" I groaned, and she looked up at me red, and that was all I needed to know.
"Which one"
"Akis"
"I KNEW IT!" I squealed, but then heard Tomas bang on the wall next to my bed, I knew it was him as his bed is on the other side of the wall and as kids we always used to have a sort of language within the walls.

"So how did it happen?!" I asked.
"Well it didn't happen, happen. It almost happened" She spoke.
"Just tell me what happened" I exclaimed.
"Well I thought I was just subtly staring at him while we were playing video games, but he saw. And then when I was coming back from the toilet we crossed paths and then you know, Tomas walked through when it was about to happen"
"TOM YOU COCKBLOCKER" I shouted, just enough to not wake everyone up but for him and Akis to hear.

In return I heard violent banging on the wall, to which I just rolled my eyes to.
"Im tired ima sleep" I yawned.
"Yeah night" she responded, tucking herself in her bed.
"Night" and with that, I drifted off to sleep thinking about the events of tonight.

The next morning, I woke up and everything felt great. I just woke up so happy. I danced down the stairs, the sun filling the house. People asked why I loved summer so much, and this was exactly why. Waking up to the sun caressing your skin, your hair turning so light, pool days, bike rides, water fights. It was just my kinda thing you know?
"Someone got out the right side of the bed" My aunty smiled at me as I danced into the kitchen.
"Yes indeed" Louisa trudged along behind me.
"So whats for brekky" I asked, the broad grin still on my face.
"Tiganopsomo" My uncle walked in, to which I just squealed.
"Yes lets go!" I jumped.
"Tiger what a woah" Louisa asked.
"Tiganopsomo, fried bread" Akis walked through. The tension that my aunty and uncle were unaware of could be cut with a knife.
"Ill have the first piece" I smiled, grabbing it off the frying pan once my aunty took it off the cooker. It was the best I could do to stop the awkwardness. I sprinkled some balsamic dressing, and when Lou got hers, we walked out to the garden.

We sat on the patio, and I realised its the first time she had been in the garden since the snake.
"Hey, it's okay" I smiled, hugging her. I walked around the table and sat in front of her, as we enjoyed the morning sun while eating one of the best foods known to earth. During our little feast, Rex ran out and sat next to Lou.
"See he's getting used to you, or he just wants some food" I giggled.
"Aw here ya go boy" She cooed as she fed him a bit of her tiganopsomo.

We spent the rest of the morning in the garden, and I did the best I could to help her forget about Akis, but it all went to waste as he walked out. He sat next to me, and I smiled at him.
"Morning" I grinned.
"Kalimera" He spoke. He gave me a look to ask 'is she okay?' to which I just nodded. It was sweet that he felt bad, but if I know Akis he will be to scared to say sorry, as it will make things very awkward. I got the idea to hand him a piece of paper and a pen to write on, to which he took and headed indoors to write it, Tomas passing on the way out.

"Kalimera kalimera" He sighed, putting his hands on his hips trying to soak up the sun. For some reason I found it the funniest, and Ria and I burst into laughter.
"Whats funny" He raised a brow.
"That is too funny" Lou shouted, dying. I got up and stood next to him, imitating his pose, and Louisa dying did the same.

"Oh my what are you guys doing" Uncle Kosta chuckled, and I heard Yia Yia giggled behind him.
"Im going to acharavi, do you kids want to come?" Uncle Kosta. To which I just shouted too. It was one of my favourite places in the whole of Corfu. It was one of the prettiest beaches ever. I grabbed Lou and I ran up the stairs with her to grab everything we would need. Today was just gonna be pure bliss.
