MISSY'S POV
"You are going to love acharavi!" I squealed.
"Woah. Chill out" Louisa spoke.
"Physically impossible we are going to acharavi!"
"I know I've seen pictures, but yes it is very exciting" She gave in.
Grabbing everything we needed, we hurried down the stairs and ran outside and got in the car. My uncles driving was the absolute funniest, speeding whenever no cars were around. As we pulled out of the drive, Uncle Kosta checked for any cars and turned onto the long road. No cars could be seen, and Uncle Kosta turned to check we had our seatbelts on, and started to speed along the road. Lou shouted at first, and I was dying of laughter.
"YOUR UNCLE IS AMAZING" she shouted, while we were laughing our heads off. I really loved driving with Uncle Kosta, my aunty always said I shouldn't enjoy it as it's dangerous, but it's so fun. I think one of the reasons she got Akis to show me to drive was because of this, though when I was a teenager my uncle taught me how to drive to an extent, so I was already pretty cool. The benefits of having a cool uncle. As we sped down the road, I rolled down the windows, the warm breeze blowing our hair. When we finally arrived, I immediately grabbed my bag and grabbed Lou's, handing it to her and ran down to the beach. We found a place to put our stuff and quickly settled down. We decided to go diving, as the water was so pure. We headed over to a few rocks, we changed into our swimming costumes, which were under our normal clothes.
Up on the tall rocks, we had a great view of the whole beach. I just smiled down watching the tide roll in and out.
"Woah, it is amazing" Lou spoke, and I just breathed in the salty air.
"I know right" I sighed. All of a sudden, I heard the call of my name, I looked around and looking to the ocean, I saw Akis on his and my aunties small fishing boat.
"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE WRITING THAT NOTE" I shouted down at him, Lou just didn't bother asking for a translation anymore.
"I GOT BORED" He called back, to which I just rolled my eyes. I'd like to scold him, but I know I'm not any better.Louisa looked confused, I just smiled and dived off the cliff. Soon enough I was submerged under the water, I went to swim back up but something was holding me down, I looked back and saw my ankle trapped beneath some rocks, I tried to swim up but couldn't and I was quickly running out of air. Before I knew it, I heard another big splash and saw Louisa but then the world went black.
I coughed up some salty water, and opened my eyes to find myself laying on the side of the beach with a worried looking Louisa sat beside me and a panicked Akis on my other side. "Okay, you're awake time to go to the hospital, get on my back" Akis spoke.
"What I'm fine!" I tried to justify myself by standing up but as soon as my foot touched the ground a shock went through my ankle. I seethed in pain then smiled it off "See, all fine. Come on Louisa lets go again" I started to walk back towards the cliffs but started limping, I pretended it wasn't.
"He has a point Missy, look at your ankle" She spoke, I looked down and saw my ankle covered in blood, I just looked up and shrugged. All of a sudden I heard my name being called, and I turned around to see Myles and Luca approaching. Wrong time, lads, wrong time. I could tell Lou was going to use this against me as she knows I would do whatever Myles says within a heartbeat.
"Whats up?" Myles asked, and then he saw my ankle. "What happened?"
"Nothing just got my ankle stuck when diving of a cliff" I spoke, looking at the ground.
"Ouch" Luca spoke, I just glared at him.
"You should get that checked out, come on" Myles looks at me with worry in his eyes as he scoops me off the ground, and I fully let him. I saw Akis' jaw drop, but I just smiled into Myles' chest."How come he can ask her and she'll go, cousins huh" Akis speaks to Lou and Luca as they walk behind us.
"Don't know why you didn't expect it, though I suppose I know something you don't then" Lou smirked and Luca slapped his hand over his face, he must know of the little nickname that caused butterflies to erupt from my stomach last night. We got to the car park near the beach, and Akis said as the other two boys had their bikes, he could take us in his car and they could follow with their bikes. They agreed, and Myles sat me in the back of Akis' bright blue peugeot. Akis rang Uncle Kostas before we left, to say what had happened and that we had gone.
With that, we made the drive to the hospital, I know im fine but everyone else says otherwise, I just sighed.
"Its for your own good you know" Louisa spoke.
"But im fine, its probably just sprained" I complained.
"You say that" Lou replied, Id like to say shes probably right but im sure im fine.
"Its better to be safe then sorry" Akis butted in.
"Oh don't you start" I whined.
"Im the oldest, its my job" He responded dryly.
"If you don't shut up you won't have a job in a minute" I threatened, I just wanted a great day at the beach but here I am on the way to the hospital, and it ain't gonna be cheap either.
"Mhm, totally" Akis chuckled.Although I don't seem grateful, I really was. He was like a brother to me, so was Tom. They would always make sure I was okay, make sure I wasn't getting myself killed, I would probably be dead at this point if it wasn't for them. A lot of people don't have that in the life, I'm grateful I do.
