MISSY's POV
"Sooo, what was that all about at the pool?" Louisa asked as we lay on my bed staring at the ceiling.
"What was what about?" I asked, hoping she would think she was seeing things.
"You know the boy I hit when you decided to stare at him rather than catching the ball" She sighed.
"What about him?" I asked, tutting.
"You were staring at him the whole time, and don't act like you didn't almost melt when he smiled at you when you went to grab drinks" She giggled like a schoolgirl.
"You don't know what you're talking about Lou Lou" I rolled my eyes. She gave me the look of 'Don't even try to lie to me I know what your thinking' so I just blurted out "Ok maybe he was a bit hot but it's not like it's a big deal anything you know what I think about love" She just sighed and let it slide.
I know she knew what I was thinking, but I wasn't gonna admit that, I wasn't gonna admit that I found him more than a bit hot. I won't even admit it to myself, because I know what will happen. I'll either get hardly rejected and everything will be awkward or I will be happy but then be heartbroken when he has to leave. I'm not stupid enough to fall for the 'true love' bullshit in disney films, no one can ever love that strong.
After a nice dinner and talking for a few hours, we decided to call it a night and get some sleep. Today was tiring and Louisa was suffering from jet lag enough.
I woke up in the morning, yawning as I got out of bed. A good nights sleep did me some good, as I felt way less tired now. Louisa seemed to have woken up the same time as me, so we trudged downstairs to get some breakfast. We said good morning to everyone and ate some bougatsa which was so good.
Today was just another chill day, but it was still warm so I decided on a green tank top and some black cycling shorts. Louisa was the same but with a black tank top, and said she "needed to get her tan on" which I giggled a lot to.
We bounded down the stairs, me sliding around the banister and running through the house into back garden, cartwheeling as I did so. Tomas stood there questioning my entire life, as Louisa walked out mentally face palming.
"So what are we doing today" Lou asked.
"I have no idea, I say we go into Sidari market on our bikes and see whats there" I smiled. And thats exactly what we did. We flew down the streets, the warm breeze surrounding us as we raced down the road. We parked our bikes in the rack next to the garage and walked through the streets of the market.
We ended up buying lots of food ingredients for Aunty Jenni, Louisa bought a bracelet with a mati on, and I got a cute tank top with a picture of the sea on that I was bound to wear sometime soon. We got hungry around lunch time, so we walked into a restaurant nearby. We ordered some moussaka, with Lou trying it for the first time. We enjoyed our lunch and I saw Lou and Akis stealing quick glances at each other. Oh dang was something going on there. I almost choked on my drink, but covered it up quickly. Tomas smirked, and I know he knows aswell, but Akis and Louisa gave me a questioning look.
As if things couldn't get more awkward, I heard the voice again. My head whipped up and I saw him sitting with his mates at a table nearby. His gaze met mine, and I quickly looked away, but as I looked back he was still looking with a smirk so I just awkwardly waved. Tomas, Akis and Louisa found it the funniest thing ever, and started kicking me under the table to tease me about it more. I could just tell my face was really red, I could feel the heat radiating off it.
As we got home, we dropped the ingredients off in the kitchen, and me and Louisa ran into my room to put our stuff away.
"Heart eyes still growing strong I see" she giggled.
"I know the way you were staring at Akis made me forget eyes were supposed to be round" I grinned, the comment earning me a slap to the shoulder from Louisa.
"I mean you didn't deny it" I smirked, pacing back towards the door ready to run. I went to run down the stairs, but my foot slipped and I fell all the way down, Lou just looking at me from the top of the stares and we instantly died.Akis walked past seeing me lying on the floor, rolling his eyes quoting 'Ahh what a day what a life', with Louisa turning red and me dying even more. Im not sure whether Akis said it to get Louisa's attention, as I saw him look proud of himself as she laughed at the comment, or just to wind me up. Probably the first option. At this point if one of them doesn't admit their feelings before this holiday, my life sure is a lie.
I could tell Louisa knew I was thinking that, as when we walked into the kitchen she said, "If you tell blonde-y I'll tell you know who", causing me to turn slightly red.
"Whose blonde-y?" Aunty Jenni asked, walking passed.
"I dunno" I responded, trying to act casual. "Bet" I muttered to Lou, even though I know it would be a while till I would tell the mysterious boy, after all I don't even know his name! But something was drawing me to him, the way I just kept bumping into him. I know I said I dont believe in the disney bullshit but this cant be some coincidence.
