MISSY'S POV
As we drove through the streets the sun started to set, and everything felt magical. Yeah, I was used to the sunset, most nights I would sit by the sea watching it set, this time it felt extra special.
As Myles started to speed up I let out a laugh, the speed bringing me joy.
"Enjoying the speed?" Myles chuckled, to which I shouted a 'yeah' to which I heard him laugh.
My arms were wrapped around his torso as I held on tight. As we pulled into the car park in Roda, and we quickly dismounted the bike. As we walked along the path in comfortable silence, I found my hand knocking against Myles every so often.
We finally got to Smiley's, and the twins Kostas and Nikos were quick to greet me. Yeah, most people were called either of the 2 names here.
"Missy! Whose the boy?" Kostas asked as they welcomed me.
"Just a friend Kostas, don't get excited" I spoke as me and Myles sat at a table close to the main floor where the twins always danced. I saw the twins throw each other a look but just rolled my eyes at them. I knew them quite well and thought of them as family. Apart from my Lou Lou they are my best friends. We decided on some Souvlaki, and as we waited for our food we made conversation.
"You are so lucky to live here" Myles commented.
"I know I love it to bits, when I went to uni in England I missed it a lot. Everyone knows everyone and its like we are all one big family here" I spoke.
"You know, your eyes sparkle when you talk about your home" Myles spoke, and I didn't realise but I must have stared into his eyes for a solid minute.Breaking the tension, our food arrived curtesy of Carissa, the twins little sister. She gave me a knowing look that said 'the boys said you aren't dating you must like him though' to which I just nodded, hoping Myles wouldn't notice. And with that we tucked in the a delicious meal.
LOUISA'S POV
I was currently sat on the balcony with Akis and Tomas, we were all making theories as to what Myles and Missy were up to.
"Knowing Missy their probably snogging each others faces off" Tomas spoke.
"Nah she's to awkward for that, she's probably obviously staring at him while he's just tryna enjoy his meal" I responded. Akis nodded along, to which Tomas looked between us, then looked at Akis.We eventually decided to chill and play some video games in the boys room, and me being me was actually decent. I kept finding myself looking at Akis, and hoped he didn't notice. I wasn't being obvious though, it was quite subtle if you ask me. I only would when he was fully concentrated on the game but quickly turn back.
As Akis went downstairs to grab snacks, I quickly went to the toilet. On my way back we crossed paths on the landing, and we just looked at each other.
"You know, its rude to stare" Akis smirked, and I felt myself turn red. He knew all along that I was looking at him.
"What?" I looked at my feet, trying to play it off.
"Playing dumb wont work" He chuckled, and it sent shivers down my spine, causing me to take a step backwards. My back met the wall and Akis took a step closer. We started to unconsciously lean in, until we heard footsteps, and Tom just looked at us questioning whatever the hell was about to go down.
"Wrong time?" He asked. When he didn't get a response he just said "maybe we should call it a night" and with that I walked straight into Missy's room and waited for her to get back.MISSY'S POV
After we finished our food, we sat drinking and just chatting the whole time, watching the twins dance to the music I knew so well. After a while of their dance, the one song, Sirtaki by Zorba - iconic song - came on and I just glared at the twins as they danced towards Myles and I. Whenever Sirtaki came on, they would always take people out of the audience to dance with them. I knew exactly where this was headed so I just shook my head at them.
As they came over, they took me and Myles on the dance floor, our arms all around each others shoulders.
"There's no getting out of this so just try and follow the steps" I muttered to Myles.
I danced without messing up, the steps all too familiar. Myles was trying, and it just looked like normal when visitors would be chosen to dance, not perfect but a great attempt. After a few drinks, we decided it was best to head back, and we just laughed all the way home.
"Im actually gonna kill them at some point" I laughed as we spoke about our evening.
"You sure can dance well though" He chuckled.
"Most people native to Greece know it, its an iconic song, Sirtaki" I smiled.
"I like it"
"It is legendary""Well, Im afraid this is it mein liebe" Myles said, helping me off the bike at the end of the drive.
"Thank you" I smiled up at him. "Tonight was truly wonderful"
"Your welcome, I enjoyed it a lot too" He smiled down at me. As he took the helmet off my head, we stared into each others eyes, and we brought each other into a tight hug.
"Ich liebe dich" He spoke, to which I quirked an eyebrow and he smiled.
"Goodnight" He spoke, getting back on his bike.
"Goodnight" I responded and on cue, powered up the bike and drove off into the starry night.
