AKIS' POV

"Just tell me" I heard the familiar whine of my little cousin as she walked through the front door.
"Nope" Louisa giggled. She obviously knew something Missy didn't, and if I knew Missy she wouldn't stop nagging.
"She doesn't have to tell you everything you know" I spoke, knowing how Missy can be.
"You don't even know what she's hiding all I know its really important to me" She complained.
"Well if you have a rough idea then that should be fine" I said.
"What does schön mean again" She whined. Lou looked over at me and mouthed for me to not tell her.
"My german is bad I left school before you remember" I said, which wasn't a complete lie, but I know it means 'beautiful'. Someone had obviously called her 'beautiful' and told Lou.
"Ugh fine!" She spoke in a strop.

"Missy don't be in a strop now be smiley" Uncle Kosta called. I saw her roll her eyes and just walk into the garden.
"Who called who beautiful huh?" I asked Louisa, a hint of jealousy if someone other than me had called Lou beautiful.
"Remember the boys we saw at the pool that I hit, the blonde one she won't stop going on about called her beautiful like the water when we were at the beach." She explained.
"Who else was there" I asked, a little too straight forward.
"Oh just his friend Luca" She spoke.
"Okay" I said, joining Missy in the garden and Louisa slowly following.

I know I was probably just over exaggerating but what if Louisa and this Luca dude fell in love. I didn't like the thought one bit. I kept pondering on it until Rex jumped up to me saving me from the nightmare.

LOUISA'S POV

I watched as Rex bounded over to Akis and snapping him out of whatever thoughts were going through his mind. I wasn't going to lie, I liked him, like a lot. I know I was probably over exaggerating but I felt a hint of jealousy come from Akis as I said how Luca was with us at the beach. Even though I didn't want him to feel stressed about it, I found it cute how he cared. I mean what am I thinking, I don't even know for sure if he was jealous. He probably just about knew my name and that I was temporarily living with him. I decided to shove all these thoughts to the back of my head and go and sit with Missy who was sitting under an olive tree.

"Watcha doin" I asked.
"I don't even know at this point" she giggled. "Do you want a drink?" She asked, to which I nodded and asked for just some water. She walked back up the garden into the kitchen out of sight.

As I divert my gase back to Akis and Rex, I see something moving in my peripheral vision. I turn my head just to find its a snake.
"Holy fuck" I shouted and quickly moved away from it, over to where Akis and Rex was.
"You alright?" He asked, looking at me concerned.
"Oh yeah just a snake its fine" I responded.
"Oh, really? What did it look like?" He asked, in which I described it to him and he widened his eyes.
"Reccy stay here" He told Rex, and looked up at me as if to do the same. He walked over to where I told him I saw it and he quickly stepped back and got his phone out.

"Everything okay?" Missy said walking out with our drinks.
"Horned viper" Akis muttered, then started speaking as the phone got answered. Missy widened her eyes, then led Rex inside and we followed. We told Uncle Kosta, who said Akis was doing the right thing calling animal control and told us to just stay indoors until they get here. From how they were talking, they were fairly used to it happening, but myself, I forgot there were poisonous snakes here.

About 20 minutes later animal control arrived and had removed the snake from the garden, and said they would just rehabilitate it to a rural area. As Missy told me this, I was just getting over the fright.
"You alright" Akis asked.
"Yeah just a shock" I laughed it off.
We decided to stay inside for the rest of the day, just watching tv and doing whatever else.

"Major damsel in distress vibes today not gonna lie" Missy chuckled when we were back in her room.
"It was a snake can you blame me" I rolled my eyes.
"Prince charming came to save you though didn't he?" She smirked, causing me to go a pinky colour.
"Oh shoosh" I muttered, causing her to laugh.
"You didn't deny it! I honestly think he likes you" She said.
"Well he has been dropping what I think are subtle hints" I said.
"Like what!" She got really excited.
"Well when you went in a strop outside he asked who else was with us and I said Luca and he looked a bit jealous" I said.
"He definitely likes you!"
"Slow down I don't even know If thats what I saw or just my mind playing tricks on me"
"Hey! Don't doubt your instinct" She pointed to my heart. I just giggled at her and rolled my eyes.

It was soon time for dinner and we had Pastitsio which was like lasagna. Before I came here, I was doubting I would like many greek dishes, but to my surprise I absolutely loved them. They probably came neck a neck with Dominoes on my list of favourite food. Like holy cow when I say Missy's aunt, Jenni cook. She can cook.

We decided we would go to bed quite early after watching a few movies as we planned to head into Corfu Town tomorrow to explore and see Missy's other cousin, Anna. We tucked ourselves in and I drifted off into a sleep dreaming about the one and only Akis Spiros Aspiotis.
