Gally- I felt like crap and angry at the world, having gotten little to no sleep, and haunted by the memory of last night. I tried to hide my anger, but it wasn't working because everyone took one look at my face and ran out of the way. "Gally!" Alby yelled, slapping me across the back. I gritted my teeth and turned to see him with a hand on the girls' shoulder. "Brought you the Little Lady! Figured you'd wanna talk before putting her to work. Good luck, Princess! And be nice, Gally!" He yelled over his shoulder. I glanced at her and some of my anger evaporated at the sight of her smile and slight bouncing on her feet. "Funny how you told me to get a good night's rest, but you look like crap, Mister Cranky," she teased, lightly punching my arm. I breathed out a half-hearted chuckle. "Yeah, whatever, Princess. Come on, food first, then we'll get started on work."

I tried hard not to sound like an ass, but I'm not off to a good start. If she heard the bite in my voice, she didn't react. After grabbing breakfast I gave her the gist of what she'd learn today, and she seems excited. "Morning, love!" Newt called, giving her a one-armed hug before grabbing food. I growled under my breath and stood up too quickly, bumping into the table. "Let's go," I snapped. She looked startled but listened and followed me to the Builder's Hut. I began explaining the tools and what they're used for, where everything was, etc... She was attentive, her eyes following everywhere I pointed. I had her repeat the important stuff back to me and smirked when she got everything right.

"You're going to help work on your Hut. For a while, I'll have you do some simple tasks and assist me until I feel confident enough to leave you on your own." "And take orders from you?" she asked, stepping up to me and smirking. When we talked about this last night, it was playful, flirtatious, but my bad mood over-took and desire to play along. "What? Got a problem with that?" Her smile faltered and part of me wanted to punch myself in the face. She frowned, straightened herself to full height and said, "I don't know, are we going to have a problem, Gally?" Her usual soft voice turned into a slight growl, and I stepped back in shock. Pretty kitty has claws, I thought, almost saying it aloud. "Not if you listen," I snapped, but with less bite. "Make me." I paused. Something about those words made me catch my breath, and I held back a groan. God, this girl is going to shucking kill me!

I stepped in front of her and gently ran my fingers through her hair, the way I'd seen Newt do last night. "Please, Princess." She paused, thrown by my attitude switch, then smiled slightly. "I know you're having a bad day, but please don't take it out on me. Yeah, I'm a shucking asshole, I thought. "I'm sorry." She flipped her hair back and said, "I'll listen, I promise." "Good, then let's get started."

As I thought; Newt had nothing to worry about; she'd been great. She managed every task I gave her, amazed us with her strength, and even assisted others with their work. We'd been wrapping up our work for the day; time had flown far too quickly. "Well, Princess, I'll admit I'm impressed. Maybe you'll end up with me," then I realized what I said, and quickly added, "As your Keeper." She smiled that shucking beautiful smile and there was a slight blush on her face. I coughed and rubbed the back of my neck. "Anyway, we can go get dinner, just..." I paused; I'd been reaching for rope to knot some materials together and we had reached it simultaneously, our hands touching. Our eyes locked on each other. "Just... just tie them up," I stuttered.

A mischievous look spread across her face. "Sure thing," and before I knew what was happening, she'd grabbed my hands and tied them together. "Hey!" I yelled. Then she leaned in close to my face, our noses almost touching, and said, "What? You weren't specific." Her voice was a soft purr and I could've kissed her then and there. Then she jumped up and sauntered off towards the Mess-Hall. I yelled after her, but she didn't turn back. I looked over and realized had an audience; my fellow Builders were either fighting back laughter, too stunned to speak, or laughing behind their hands. "Need help, Gally?" Dan asked, biting his fist. "Just cut the ropes, shuck-face!" Snickering, he grabbed a knife and cut me free. I spun around to look for the devious little minx and frowned when I saw her laughing with Alby and Minho.

Oh, great, now every shucking Glader is going to know about it! I groaned and face-palmed, harder than I meant to, then dragged myself over to the kitchen to wait for food. When Fry handed me my plate, he took the time to tease me, having over-heard the girl telling the story, and I stalked off to the woods to eat by myself.

The Girl: Everyone had gone to bed not too long ago, but I wasn't tired yet, so I sitting in my usual spot in the woods. The boys call them the Deadheads, but it's too morbid for me. The sound of walking made me jump, disturbing my peace. "Woah, it's just me, Princess." Gally. "You scared me." He sat next to me, an apologetic smile on his face. "You're lucky can't stay mad at you." He laughed and knocked into me; I stuck my tongue out at him. We sat in silence for a bit before he spoke, "I can't believe you tied my hands and then left me there!" I giggled and faced him, smirking. "You said "Tie them up," not my fault you weren't specific." "Maybe you're not that great at giving orders," I teased him. Gally started breathing deeply, as if he was trying to stay calm. Okay, maybe I pushed him.

I tried to laugh it off and turned away from him, then I felt a strong hand caress my neck before squeezing gently. "Look at me, Princess." I gasped softly at the deep tone in Gally's voice, his large hand warm on my neck. I turned, slowly, to face him, and I was met with dark eyes that were locked on me. He smirked. "You had no problem following that order, little mix," he said, huskily. God, he is so hot! I thought, staring deep into his eyes. I didn't want to, but it would be smart of me to walk away now. "I'm going to try and get some sleep. You should too," I told him, trying my hardest to not stutter. I saw the look of disappointment on his face before it disappeared. I went to get up, but I paused. "Gally, can you keep a secret?" He looked at me a moment then nodded. I smiled and leaned in to kiss his cheek. Before I pulled away, I whispered in his ear, "If I could chose who to end up with, I'd choose you."

I stood, brushing myself off and trying to not laugh at his expression; wide eyed, open-mouthed, face beet red. "As a Keeper," I added. I turned to walk away, but I heard him speak, and I stopped. "Princess," he groaned. I smiled and said, "By the way; my name is Julia." And I walked off towards my sleeping bag in the middle of the Glade. Lying there, I held my neck, tracing the lingering heat from Gally's hand and fingers. And the only thing that occupied my dreams that night, were him.
