A/N: We have reached the Trilogy! We are now in "The Maze Runner" so now we have way more plot. Some notes: I'm not sure yet how explicit I'll have this book at the moment, but I know I'll be writting smut eventually. Since we're following real plot, there won't be a lot of it. But this book will be Mature. Whenever I write out any kind of smut, I'll be sure to put a warning, so it can be skipped. You've been warned.

Julia- A new Greenie was supposed to come today, but the Box is a bit late. My head was all but exploding, so I was resting in my hut while the other Gladers waited. It's hard to believe I've been here two years, but here I am! I poked my head out the door and breathed in the fresh air. It cleared my head a bit, so I stayed outside and stretched. I smiled when I saw Newt walking around the Box, waiting with some of the others; most of the boys were keeping busy while they waited.

"How are you feeling, Little Lady?" Alby asked, walking up to me. "I'm five shucking seconds away from asking Clint and Winston to slice my head open, but we're getting there," I growled, rubbing my head. Alby barked out a laugh, right from his gut, and patted my head. "Think you'll be okay for tonight?" he asked, leaning against my hut so he could watch for the Box. "I hope so," I sighed. "Well, go rest up, Gally will kill me if he realizes I'm bugging you." I snorted, punching him in the side. "Yeah, yeah, beat it, slinthead." He threw his hands up and ran off.

I closed the door and got back into my hammock, drawing my blanket over my face to block out more of the sun. Ugh, if I sleep more, I'll be up all night, I complained to myself. Suddenly, I heard the alarm go off and the sound of the Gladers rushing to the Box. A stretch of silence, then the usual commotion of seeing the Newbie, but then I heard someone yell, "We got a runner!" I sat up and drew back the cloth covering my window and saw a guy bolting towards the Maze, and then he face-planted.

I bust out laughing, and so did the others. I watched as the Greenie spun around, taking in the Glade, then Gally running over and grabbing him. I shook my head as I watched him throw the Greenie into the Slammer. Gally can be rough sometimes, but when you're a builder, it's practically a requirement. I smiled at the thought, gently tracing the bruises on my hips. After I downed the rest of my water, I laid back down and was able to rest.

*Skip*

I awoke to the feeling of hands stroking my face and the smell of nature and wood which I knew as Gally. I nuzzled into his hand, breathing him in. "Feel any better?" he asked gently, kissing my forehead. I sat up and stretched, answering with a slight nod, then turned and grabbed his shirt, kissing him softly. "Is it time?" Gally nodded and scooped me up, making me giggle. "I missed you," he murmured into my neck. He carried me outside then placed me down near the fire pit. "Aw, did our Princess get enough beauty sleep?" Minho teased me. I flipped my hair back and answered in an overly sweet voice, "I did; you should try it sometime, you ugly shank." The other boys all freaked and laughed, high fiving me while Minho flipped me off. "Alright, let's go!" Alby yelled, ready to light the torches. Newt walked over and handed me one, giving me a side-hug.

We threw the torches into the pit, which started a roaring fire, while everyone cheered. Gally came over and handed me dinner, then we walked over to sit with the other Builders. After a few moments, Chuck came over and asked how I was. I smiled at him; I loved this kid. I was a mother and a big sister to him. Most of the Gladers found him a little annoying, but I loved talking with him. Only difference between me and the others was he knew when to shut it around me. I ran a hand through his hair, messing it up, and told him I was better. "Probably due to not hearing you talk for a few hours," I said. Gally chuckled and Chuck smiled, knowing I was joking. "Fry said you get extra bacon, asked me to bring it to you," he said, holding out a plate. I took two of the four pieces and give the rest to Chuck. "Go on now, go have fun!" I told him. "Thanks Julia!" and he walked off.

I took a full sweep of the Glade, and frowned, confused. "Wait, where's the Greenie?" I asked Gally. "Ran into the Maze after seeing your boyfriend's ugly mug!" Ben said, walking behind me. I swung my fist, claws at the ready, and he jumped, running away from me while he laughed. "All the way over there," Gally said, nodding towards the Maze. I saw a lone boy leaning on a log, back to us. I shrugged and focused on eating, taking a few sips of Gally's Brew, which got rid of any lingering pain. An hour later, I was up and dancing. After doing this a few times, I had gotten completely comfortable. Sometimes I danced around the Glade to whatever music I heard in my head; I mostly did it whenever I help Fry cook. I watched as Newt walked over to the Newbie and sat next to him. Classic Newt, I thought, always there.

I got lost in the music and the cheers from the boys. Time was meaningless to me whenever I hear music. "And this, Greenie, is our Princess," I heard Newt and spun around to see him standing with the new kid, who looked at me wide-eyed and slack jawed. I smiled at Newt and grabbed his hand, pulling him over to dance, despite his objections. He spun me around a few times before cradling me in his arms. "Julia, meet our Greenie," he said, resting his chin on my shoulder. I nodded my head in greeting. "A couple rules with her; first, even though I'm Alby's second, she's in charge too. It's a respect thing, so she tells you to do something, you do it." The Newbie looked at me, then nodded, signifying he understood. "Second and most important; no flirting, she's taken. Got it, Newbie?" Newt asked in a serious voice. The kid looked shocked and put his hands up, nodding. "Yeah, I could tell," he said.

Newt and I busted out laughing. Newt had gotten over me a long time ago; staying friends after him kissing me helped a lot. Although we're still affectionate, it didn't bother Gally. "No, not me," Newt said. The boy looked confused, glancing back-and-forth. "Alright, go do your thing, love" Newt said to me, kissing my head. I pouted, and he spun me back out. I flipped him off and went back to dancing. I noticed the Newbie gawking after me while Newt pulled him away. Stupid boy, you'll get in trouble. Then I heard the familiar sound of Gally throwing someone to the ground, but he'd thrown the boy too far because he fell into the new kid too. Then Gally challenged him. Oh, no. Everyone starting chanting, encouraging the Greenie. I looked over at Newt and we both shared the same though, this is going to be a disaster.

Once Gally explained the rules, I walked over. "Now boys," I said, and everyone started whooping and jeering. "Come on, guys. What did I say about breaking new toys when we get them?" I asked the circle of Gladers. Everyone laughed. I went over to Gally and placed a hand on his chest, "Don't break him, okay?" I went to walk away, but he pulled me into him and kissed me hard. The boys started catcalling and Gally pulled me by my hips to get me as close at possible. He pulled away, that dark smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes and walked off towards Newt. I leaned on him and we looked at each other, shaking our heads. Alby and Minho stood next to us, and we watched as the boys fought. The shank sucked and was getting tossed like a doll, though he tried his hardest to fight off Gally.

Shockingly, the Greenie managed to get Gally down, and I was stunned. But I knew Gally wouldn't give up, so he swept the guy's leg, and down he went, hard, cracking his head on the ground. Newt and I jumped, and watched, waiting to see if he needed help. Then, all of the sudden, he jumped up and started yelling, "Thomas! My name's Thomas!" Everyone was silent for a second before the Glade erupted in cheers. Fry handed Thomas a jar of Brew, which he spat out in the air. Gally went over and shook his hand, then the sound of the Grievers broke the moment. "That, my friend, was a Griever," Gally told Thomas. I walked over to Gally, who tucked me under his arm. "Don't worry. You're safe here with us. Nothing gets through those walls." Thomas looked at me and I turned away, hiding my face in Gally's shoulder. Sometimes, even two years later, I still jump at the screeching, cry of the monsters in the Maze.

Gally lead me away as Alby told everyone to tuck in for the night. Gally hardly slept in his own hammock, unless he needed to be up early, he mostly slept with me. I kicked off my boots and stretched my legs. "So, what do you think of our new Greenie?" Gally asked, peeling out of his long sleeve. I frowned at this. "I can't read him, and that makes me nervous," I told him. "Eh, give it a day. Shank just got here, none of us know him yet." I nodded. Gally came up behind me, kissing my neck and trailing his hand below my stomach. "Gally," I warned, even though I made no move to stop him. "Just helping, babe," he whispered, removing my jeans. Then he kissed my neck again and got into my hammock, holding his arms open for me. I laid down and breathed him in, feeling his heartbeat on my cheek. "Love you," he whispered. "Love you back." And I was out.
