"Happy Valentines, Hon!" I almost fell off my bed when I suddenly felt her jump onto me and plant some kisses on my cheeks.

This is our fourth year of dating each other every Valentine's Day. I have already purchased a car because some of my finances in medical school are being paid for by her mom. Four years have passed, yet our relationship is still strong. Since we are both graduates with degrees and are now taking medical school and law school, we have decided to live under the same roof. Waking up beside her every morning is such a wonderful moment. Imagine that we became friends for four years and spent another four years as girlfriends and boyfriends. Damn, we have been by each other's sides for eight years.

"I haven't brushed my teeth yet." Pilit kong tinatakpan ang bibig ko para hindi niya ito mahalikan.

"So? I haven't brushed mine too. I think it's fair?" I chuckled at what she said.

Because of that, I gave her access to my lips. Matapos ang halik na iyon ay bigla niya akong pinabangon para daw makapaghilamos na ako. Nung una ay ayaw ko pa dahil parang nabitin ako sa halik pero wala na akong magawa nung sinabi niya na ipinagluto niya ako.

"Para maiba naman, we will stay here and cuddle the whole day. No going out, kailangan natin magtipid, Hon! Nag-iipon tayo para sa magiging bahay natin." I was amused when I saw the table full of foods.

"You prepared all of this? What time did you wake up?" Tanong ko rito nang makaupo.

"Five. Those are just easy to cook, don't worry!" sabi nito at tinabihan ako.

"You should've let me help you." reklamo ko rito.

"Aba! Pitong taon ka ng gumagastos at nagpapakahirap mag-isip kung saan ako id-date, 'no! Let me do this, Hon. Look, I've also bought you flowers!" Napasapo ako sa noo nang iabot niya sa akin ang isang bouquet ng bulaklak.

"Love, what the hell. I'm the guy here, not you." namumula kong sabi, pero mukhang natutuwa siya sa nakikita niya ngayon.

"Who said a man doesn't deserve a flower, hmm?" Hindi na ako nakasagot kaya naman naman nagsimula na siyang lagyan ako ng pagkain sa plato.

"Kailan ka pala uuwi ng probinsiya?" Tanong nito.

"Last week of April until a week before graduation, I will spend two weeks there, then dadalhin ko ulit sila rito bago mag-graduation." sagot ko at tumango siya.

"I can't go with you. I will be busy with my finals." She pouted.

"Hey, it's fine. I will call you every night, alam kong hindi ka makakatulog nang wala ako." Natatawa kong sabi kaya naman hinampas niya ako.

"Finish your food, hindi pwedeng ikaw lang ang may surprise." I said which made her laugh. 

"Hey! I said, no going out!" She shouted.

"No! I won't let my surprise get ruined!" Sigaw ko pabalik dahil papasok na ako sa banyo para maligo.

We left the condominium at 10, maya't maya ang tanong niya kung saan kami pupunta pero hindi ko siya sinasagot. Today, I will bring her to a pet shop. She's been requesting a dog, and I want to buy her one. May nakita na akong isa, it is a Havenese breed. Ang gusto niya raw kasi ay yung palagi niyang mayayakap at fluffy. 

Hindi ba ako fluffy? Bakit hindi nalang ako ang yakapin niya?

Mukhang natimbrehan niya kung saan kami pupunta dahil nag-park na ako sa mismong tapat ng pet shop. She didn't wait for me to get out so I could open her door dahil mabilis siyang bumaba at dere-deretsong pumasok sa loob. The heck? Hindi man lang ako hinintay? Agad ko siyang hinabol at hinila para ipakita sa kaniya ang kukuhanin namin.
