Signs of Life on the Luminary

Chapter 3

We all meet in hero suits.

Our outfits (1st Sophie; 2nd Jennie; 3rd Anna):⬆️⬆️

We all stand together in front of All might as he explains how today's training will unfold.

« I will randomly choose duos, and there will be two duos against each other. One, "heroes" must arrive at a bomb while "villains" must stop them. Just touch the bomb to validate the point." he explains.

Then, on a big board, the first match is announced:

The grumpy guy with Lida against Izuku and Urara.

We all withdraw from the field and Kaminari said in a frail voice:

"I feel this is going to end badly."

Sophie turns to him;

"Why?"

"Kastuki has always had a huge hatred for Izuku," Kirishima tells us, "I mean, it seems like it."

"Doesn't he have a problem with everybody?" Anna says.

I giggle;

"And you say that?"

"Shut the fuck up"

« Bahah »

"Language!" laughs Jirou, imitating Lida's voice.

We all start laughing.

We watch the fight on one of the big screens. At the beginning Lida says something to Kastuki but he doesn't listen to her and search for Izuku.

Who does that surprise?

He found him in one of the corridors and attacked first. Then followed an eventful battle where the building ended in ruins and Izuku in a hospital bed; again.

Then it's the turn of a certain Shoji with Shoto against a guy with blond hair and short and an invisible girl.

«He is Ojiro» Ashido informs me.

I thank her and ask what he can do.

«He is an expert in martial arts and uses his tail as a main asset» answers Jirou.

"Oh, stylish"

To our surprise, the fight ended as quickly as it began. Shoto ice the whole building, imprison the opposing team and touch the bomb quietly.

"That's shoto todoroki. He can create ice on his right side and light on his left side," says All Might.

Admiring murmurings roam the room. Mhmm, we see that it was not recommended for nothing.

"That would make a good opponent," Anna smiled.

«Bha, he would crush you» I tease her.

"Huh, we'll see that" she.

I was about to reply when I hear my first name being called. I'm with a guy named Koda. He, uh... calls insects? Against one who throws sticky and kirishima bands.

Great.

As soon as we get into the building, I say:

"Well, you make as much noise as you can with your things near the door, I'll deal with the bomb."

Without waiting for his reply, I left the building and watched the windows. I couldn't help but smile as I put my glasses on my nose.

When I hear Kirishima's loud voice ordering something? I reach out to the bomb, make it disappear and make it appear next to me.

I touch it with a smirk.

« Team E wins »

Sophie's match also ended quickly, she teamed up with Jirou. The girl showed him the exact position of the bomb and in 2 seconds it was touched and they won the fight.

Finally they check each other and smiled.

Anna, that was another story.

She was with Mineta against Ashido and Yuga and her team had to protect the bomb. She created a field of electricity throughout the building and despite the advances of the opponents, they could not even take a step without being electrified.

The time finally elapsed, she threw Mineta through one of the windows because he had, I quote, "looked at her strangely".

To finish the day of high school, we all meet in class and already, everyone congratulates themselves.

«Eh, I loved your match Sophie» congratulates Mina.

"It was way too fast for my eyes," Jirou said, embarrassed.

Sophie raises her head proudly and smiles;

"Um, you're just too slow"

I turn to Shoto

"Your duel was cool!"

He keeps his neutral expression.

«Thank you, yours too»

I shrug,

«Yours didn't last very long»

He passes a hand behind his head;

"I have no time to waste"

I nods my head as a sign of understanding and turn to my friend;

"Anna! Your game was fun too!"

« Thanks but I don't really care about your opinion »

I giggle, not expecting another answer.

Suddenly izuku enters the class, one arm almost broken.

'Oi, midorya's here!' said Kirishima

Immediately, many of our classmates turn to him.

"Great game!"

"We don't know what you said during the game but you were fired up!"

He thanks his friends and turns to us.

"Well, thank you, but I'm not the only one who had a good game, Anna's was good. Or even kacchan's!"

The answers are not waiting:

"I don't care what you think," she says.

"I already told you to call me that again!"

After that, bakugo went out of class.

"What does he have?" asked the little pervert.

I shrug my shoulders.

"Anna, Jennie, let's go home."

We go out into the hallway and, through the window, we see izuku holding katsuki and the two talking, or rather, yelling at each other.

"What's their problem?" asks the concerned Sophie.

I'm not answering anything, not knowing what to say.

Anna by in the stairs of the building;

"Well, at worst it's a romance, who cares?"

I laugh.

"Seriously ?!"

She laughs and gives us a sign.

"Come on, we're not going to sleep here!"
