That's how our internships started.

"You all have your costumes? inquires our teacher; don't wear them on the street. Don't lose them!"

Curious how he looked more and more like a father.
"Yeah, too good!" cried Mina.

He reprimanded her immediately and resumed in an commanding voice.
"You better stay polite in your agency. Go ahead"

"Good!"

We greet most of our comrades and each one disperses on their side.

"Sophie, Anna, Jennie, come here"

We obey immediately.
"Well, do you have your plane tickets?"
We nod in unison and I take them out of my pocket.
"Well, since you're going to another country, I couldn't intervene if there was a problem. So I put all the responsibility on you, be careful"

I repress a smile.
"Of course, we manage."
With a final nod, we turn to our terminal.
«I can't wait to go back to France» admits Anna.
"Paris ! Here we are!" cried Sophie, making a small jump.

//

We land a few hours later and we're so tired. At the airport, a large part of our families await us and warmly welcome us. Like the agency, and our houses are in the center of Paris, each of us will sleep in their respective houses.

As we already wanted to start the practice, Charlotte took us on patrol the first day. And it was a good idea because a bad guy with a power of ice is blocking the road.
Trice was impressive, as soon as the villain landed, he was already on the ground, handcuffed.
Even Sophie opened her eyes wide.
"When you manage to go faster than me... you will be able to become heroes" She tells her.

//

On the third day, while we were doing a late afternoon patrol, a huge explosion sounded.
At once, a second was heard and a huge figure appeared in the sky. It had become dark.
"Stay behind me!" Trice commanded us before running towards the cries.

We exchange a look with Anna, of fear and surprise, and then we follow her. At the turn of a building, you stop sharp when you see the gravity of the situation. There was debris everywhere and fires were starting to spread. A building on our right flows and covers us with a cloud of dust.

As I cough, a shadow comes over me and I raise my head, terrified. A huge monster, much like the creature that attacked us in the center, stands before me. He's getting ready to punch me, but he's getting some kind of lightning and losing his balance.

"Go!" cries Charlotte in a hand movement.
As we turned around, a creature with wings this time, landed in front of us. Anna threw a electric shock right on it's chest. The creature doesn't even flinch and I barely have time to see her surprised look that she takes a punch that sends her several meters away.

"Asshole!"
Sophie sends her foot into it stomach while I try to knock it out with debris but it grabs Sophie's leg and throws her in the air. With his arm, it sends the debris back to me and I barely had time to make it disappear that it mows me down with it's  wing.

I land violently on my back and my breathing freezes. I cough but try to get up right away. I couldn't see much and I couldn't see Anna or Sophie. I ignore a pain in my right leg and begin to advance as best I can towards what seemed to me to be the place where Anna had landed.
A growl is heard to my right and one of the creatures appears and begins to attack me. I jump to the side and it hits the ground, creating a crack in the asphalt.
Where did these things come from?

A blue flash hits the monster in the middle of a whip. It steps back, disoriented, and a man appears.
"Electro !"
"Go in a safer place !"
He commands me in a firm voice.

I immediately nod as the beast was already coming to its senses and charged the pro-hero. I start running and I join Anna and Sophie, who was a few meters away.
I almost sigh of relief.
"We have to get out of here, it sucks."
"Yeah, great suggestion"

We almost have to scream to be heard over the noise. At a glance, I check that no one is seriously injured and, as it does not seem to be the case, we hurry back. This time, nothing gets in our way and we end up in another part of the city. Some buildings were threatening to fall but there was no sign of a creature. As we stop, Sophie shakes my hand to warn me. I look up and see people coming towards us. There are three of them.

"Are you pros?" Sophie asks.
"You'd better hurry! That's where it's happening!" Anna tells them.
They answer nothing and stop. Sophie gives me a panicked look as one of the three takes off his hood and I realize that he is smiling. A shiver runs through my spine as he pulls a shiny object out of his cape. A blade.
"Kids? I feel like we're going to have fun..."

He is the one who attacks the first. He throws himself on me, holding his blade straight in front of him. I dodge as much as I can and I notice that his two buddies followed him too.

As I stooped to dodge the second attack, a cold wave caught me and I saw my two legs trapped in the ice.
New villains had joined the trio. They were now much more numerous. Vines come out of the ground and trap my right leg.I hold back a cry of pain when they squeeze my already bruised leg. I try to make them disappear but new ones come back. I calm my breath and not let myself go into panic.

I saw the villain charge me and his blade passes a few centimeters from my face.

At the same time, I hear electricity crackling and a cry of pain. Sophie makes several shots in a row in record time and then sends an uppercut in the chin of one of the mens. I stretched out my arm, suddenly making his weapon disappear and I thought I saw stupor under his assured air.

I use the blade to free my leg and throw my elbow in the nose of one of the villains. I hear his growl of pain as I push him onto another and they both fall to the ground.
Wrestling noises fill the atmosphere and I don't even know what I'm hitting but I'm kicking in all directions. With one bounce, I step away from the fray and collapse a ciment plate on several villains.

A new cold wave ran through my body and the ice trapped me to my waist. I wring my neck to notice that my friends were in the same situation.
"So that's your thing...you move your little arm and stuff disappears..." The villain starts with a hoarse voice.

I'm frowning as he makes a hoarse laugh.
"See if you can make that disappear"
With this, it operates a lever and several explosions are heard. A cracking immediately alarm me and a building close to us begins to tip dangerously.

Shit.

I knew very well what my alter allowed me to do at the moment and it certainly wasn't to make an entire building disappear. Another noise was heard and, with a squeak, two other buildings began to fall.
I clench my teeth when I see the panicked looks of my friends. A smoke covers us and I refrain from coughing as I feel weak. I try to make everything above them disappear, but I don't have time to verify that I had succeeded because 60 tons fell on me and I black out.

Anna's pov:

"Asshole!"

Several buildings had collapsed and I barely had time to see Jennie's body disappear underneath. A terror followed me with immense rage. My breathing shuts down while a gunshot sound is heard and a violent pain is felt throughout my right arm. As I lower my head, I see a stain of blood spreading on my costume and soon, reddish drops slip on my hand and fall to the ground.
The blood is pounding in my ears and my breathing is short.
The guy in front raises his gun again but I don't give him time to pull the trigger again and send him a straight blue lightning bolt on his face.
He screams in pain.

All the air around me is stained with a bluish glow and only a few muffled cries reach my ears.

Ah, it hurts so bad...

"-a, Anna!"
I can barely hear Sophie's familiar voice and the atmosphere is back to normal.
As if all the pain was coming back to me in full force, my legs no longer hold and I collapsed on the ground.

"Anna, oh my God! I have to get help-"
I don't hear the rest of her sentence as the darkness invades my vision.
