The death of Bronze was an unexpected one. Everyone new the price of war but the deaths never got easier. The fleet had returned to Kamino to drop off Mamba and the wounded. Arc was sitting on his bunk in his quarters when a signal chimed alerting him to someone outside his door.

"Come in." Arc said.

The door opener and Mamba stepped into the room. He looked at Arc and gave him a small nod.

"Need something Mamba?" Arc asked.

"I'd like to join your legion." Mamba replied.

"What about the 7th Legion?" Arc asked.

"It's decided the the 7th will be disbanded. We took to many casualties at Bothawui that their splitting the survivors between different units." Mamba explained. "I'd like to join your legion as your men were the ones that came to save us."

"We'd be glad to have you. Get our colors on and report to Corporal Exxon." Arc ordered.

"Yes sir." Mamba replied.

Mamba turned and exited the room as Arc grabbed a data pad next to him. He was looking back at the report of Bothawui and the gathered intel. It seemed the Clankers were let in like they had a mole in the inside. Those clone traitors most have been in the base. It's the only reasonable explanation.

It was clear the clones wouldn't be able to figure this out. They all looked the same but Arc did still have Durge who could figure it out for him. Pulling out a holodisk from his foot locker, he sat it on the ground and waited. Soon the tall blue hologram figure of a Duro in a hat appeared.

"Durge, I have need of you again." Arc said.

The alien replied but as perusal Arc didn't understand him.

"I need you to track those clone traitors again." Arc explained. "Something doesn't seem right and I need to see how deep their roots go."

The alien would nod and then the hologram would disappear. Arc grabbed his helmet and tucked it under his arm and up against his side before making his way to the door. Taking a moment to collect his thoughts, Arc pushed a button on the control panel allowing the door to slide open. He stepped out into the hallway to find it rather empty.

It was odd to see the halls empty but it seemed the losses from this battle were taking their tolls. Not only did the 100th lose a lot of men but nearly the entire 7th Legion was lost. The chow hall now had a designated spot for the lost troopers. Their helmets if possible are gathered at the end of fights and put on shelves. This was our way to bring the dead with us to the end of the war.

Even with this new thing just starting, already dozens of helmets now lined the shelves, their helmets all had a different story to tell. Some were scorched, others had a blaster hole, while others just had dirt. Each one was different from the next and each had their own soldier behind the helmet that had a different story.

Bronze's helmet was now on the shelf with Jetter's. Arc still wasn't sure why Jetter's helmet was at that base, his only hope to an answer was Durge. Making his way to the bridge, he decided it was time to promote Wheeler to Lieutenant allowing him command of an entire platoon.

Making his way down to the bridge he decided that he needed to do some other promotions. He's promote Exxon to sergeant and Haze to fighter wing commander. These were just some but it was clear that the legion needed more officers.

Getting to the bridge, Arc found Wheeler talking to Silver and a couple other bridge crew. As Arc got closer he could hear them talking about the next plan. Arc had instilled that when he approached the troopers were to continue their duty unless told otherwise for the sake of efficiency and time.

"Good afternoon captain." Silver said as Arc got closer.

"Afternoon admiral." Arc replied. "What have I missed?"

"Nothing much, just speculation about Bothawui." Wheeler replied.

"I've had my fair share of them to." Arc agreed.

"Care to share?" Wheeler asked.

"Maybe later, for how I need you to go gather Exxon and Haze." Arc ordered.

"Yes sir." Wheeler replied before leaving.

"May I know why your calling those two to the bridge Captain?" Silver asked.

"Promotions." Arc replied. "Wheeler is being made into a Lieutenant, Exxon into a sergeant, and Haze will be the new Blue Squadron Commander."

"I see, I may have to do the same with some of my staff. I've been needing chiefs for a few different systems." Silver said.

"They'll come in handy." Arc agreed.

After a few moments Wheeler returned with the two he was told to retrieve and Silver had gathered some of his staff as well.

"Squad, attention." Arc ordered.

All the gathered clones stood at attention. Each one stood next to the other in a horizontal line. Each one stood tall and have a facial look of steel. These men wouldn't be broken, nor would they surrender to the enemy.

"Sergeant Wheeler, step forward." Arc ordered.

Wheeler stepped forward and removed his helmet and held it tightly against his side.

"Sergeant Wheeler, you are here by being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. You will be given command of a platoon from my regiment and will be assigned four squads to make up your platoon." Arc explained.

"Thank you sir." Wheeler replied.

Arc nodded as Wheeler returned to his spot.

"Corporal Exxon, step forward." Arc ordered.

He like Exxon removed his helmet.

"Corporal Exxon, you are now being promoted to sergeant of your squad. Your squad will also be assigned to Lieutenant Wheeler's platoon." Arc explained.

"Understood Captain." Exxon replied.

Arc nodded and Exxon returned to his spot.

"Haze, step forward." Arc ordered.

Haze stepped forward and removed his helmet. Unlike the other two Arc took a moment longer to say the next bit. Haze's armor markings were the only way Arc knew he was talking to.

"Haze, you are being promoted to Squadron Commander. You'll be taking the place of former Squadron Commander Jetter...you'll be in charge of finding recruits for our fighter wings and for Blue Squadron. You'll also assist Admiral Silver in fleet battle plans." Arc explained.

"Thank you Captain." Haze replied.

Arc nodded and took a step back as Haze return to his spot and then Admiral Silver took point.

"Dayn, please step forward." Silver said.

One of the officers in a grey tunic stepped forward.

"Dayn you are being made into my lead gunnery officer." Silver stated.

"Thank you admiral." Dayn replied.

Dayn stepped back and Silver looked to the next trooper.

"Syc, step forward." Silver said.

The next trooper with a tunic stepped forward.

"Syc, you are being made my lead communication officer." Silver stated.

Syc thanked him and stepped back in line as silver made Kal his Navigation officer, Rook his helm officer, Kor is sensor officer, and Hammer is sensor officer. As Kor fell back in line Arc moved up next to Silver.

"Your all dismissed." Arc said.

The gather group all returned to their positions or wherever they were previously, Arc turned to Silver with a questioning look.

"Think will get any R&R once we return to Kamino?" Arc asked.

"It's highly unlikely. The droids out number us and the Republic needs as many soldiers as it can." Silver replied.

"Yeah...just a false hope I suppose." Arc said as he started into the hyperspace lane his flagship now traveled.
