Candied Innocence
Why did no one ever notice the cherries you were picking?
Stealing bites out of my mind
Hurting children is all you seem to seek
Did you ever think?
You were double my age when you sank your first bite
You ate my sweetness and spit it out
You didn't like my candied innocence.
