Jakku had very little villagers. No one ever visited this barren sand planet unless they had to. We had to. Poe landed our ship and let BB-8 down.

"Another mission with me, Solo," he says, quietly.

"I know, Dameron. I was the one who told my mother to let us go," I say.

He opens the cockpit and we both jump down. BB greets us.

"Hey, bud," I say and pat his dome head. "Lets find my old friend."

Poe had his red and tan jacket on. The one that has been with him since he came to help the Resistance.    And I had on another one of Poe's jackets that I won in a bet, black pants, a white shirt, and brown boots. We found Lord San Tekka in his hut home. BB-8 was watching making sure the First Order didn't show up. I was exhausted, I could tell Poe was too. It was nonstop, constantly coming and going.

Tekka walks towards Poe and I, and places a small leather pouch in Poe's hand and covers it with both his hands. He looks at me and smiles, nodding.

"These days I can only do so much. Would that I could do so much more." Tekka sighs, "and there is so much more that needs to be done. But... this will begin to make things right."

"Legend says this map is unobtainable," Poe says. "How did you do it?"

Lord San Tekka simply smiles. Not letting Poe in on his secret.

Poe grins. "I've heard stories about your adventures since I was a kid. It's an honor to meet you. We're grateful."

I nod. "I don't know how you did it, but you did. I've been looking for my Uncle for years. Searching through the Force but he closed himself from it. It's nice to see you again."

"I couldn't just sit here and let it happen. Something needed to be done, whatever the cost, and whatever the danger. Without the Jedi," San Tekka nods towards me, "there can be no balance in the Force, and all will be given over to the dark side."

I could talk forever about the Jedi, the Dark and the Light, the Clone Wars, and the Sith but that would have to wait for another time. We began preparing to leave so we can deliver the map to my mom.

"The general has been after this a long time," Poe says hinting we need to go.

"'General.' To me, she royalty," Tekka says with a smile.

"Yeah, but don't call her Princess," Poe tells him. "Not to her face. She doesn't like it anymore. Really doesn't like it."

I smile. "Yeah, Dameron," I say nudging him.

"It was one time," he says.

Suddenly, BB-8 came rolling in the room. He braked but not in time. He hit my ankle, frantically beeping.

"Beebee," I say and shake my foot lightly. Listening to BB-8.

"We got company," Poe says standing up.

Poe broke into a run outside and used his quadnocs to search the sky. I close my eyes as soon as I get outside and reach out through the Force. I sense my worst nightmare. My eyes shoot open. Ben!

"Not to be presumptuous, sir, but you need to hide," Poe spoke to Tekka who was beside me.

"Not to overstate the obvious, but you two need to leave."

"Poe we need to go. I can't be here. He's going to know," I tell him. "Thank you for your hospitality Lord San Tekka."

He thinks for a minute.

"Poe let's go!" I say backing up.

"Go," Tekka told us. "May the Force be with you."

"And you," I say as Poe follows.
