CHAPTER 1 - Rainbow

The snowflakes that were only a sprinkle falling down before turned into a harsher snowfall with thick freezing fog. It was up to the point where if (Y/N) were to stand outside the car, her ankles would surrounded in snow and she would not be able to even see

"This was a horrible idea..." muttered (Y/N), as she was attempting to drive safely due to the trees and fog, "Yet, I decided to continue this journey even when I knew that the snow was growing harsher and harsher!"

(Y/N) squinted her eyes when looking through her windshield to try and see if she was about to run into something. Of course, she isn't pressing her foot on the gas peddle and trying to go supersonic boom, she is driving slow but just didn't want her beloved car to get damaged in any way possible.

Sure, her salary was decent but she couldn't exactly spend a hundred dollars to fix it. She needs that money to save up for rent, food, and other bills. So, she is gonna drive slow and not damage her car.

"Wait, is that it?" (Y/N) said, the fog had eased up and she could see some sort of wall or pillar? Or at least that's what she thought it was.

She stopped the car and exited, shivering, she made sure to turn off its engine and take the keys. She then turned the flashlight from her phone on and began walking towards the wall thing with the help of the light. Once she got near it, she looked up and was shocked to be short.

"Holy shit.."

The fog seemed to clear out around the wall, which is now shown to be the wall surrounding the temple that she wanted to go to. Though, she could still see the temple and the place was big, really big. It was detailed as well, and somehow well kept? The whole building was somehow not damaged a single bit, though it was dirty considering nobody had tried to clean the temple while it was abandoned.

'I guess I should find a way in? But where exactly am I outside the temple?'

(Y/N) started walking beside the wall to find the entrance to the inside. She kept on getting farther and farther away from her car, more interested in what could be inside the temple.

It took some time before she got towards the front of the building, and boy was her legs tired. Though, in her eyes, it was worth it. The front of the temple seemed to have a small set of stairs to get to it, so (Y/N) began to climb up. Once she was at the top, she was wowed by the intricate design.

The temple had a fence and gate in front of it that were connected to some pillars that held up a part of the roof. There also seemed to be balconies around the place, as if people would be there to see who is coming to visit. Though, what caught (Y/N)'s attention was the small pond that had some lotus flowers.

She walked towards the pond and squatting down to have a closer view. There were some Koi fish swimming around. They looked to be healthy and alive, swimming around while eating the specks of food that was there. The small environment was calming and pretty in (Y/N)'s eyes.

Wait what..?

There seemed to be a pinch of food that was left there But before (Y/N) could get a closer look at it, the koi fish finished everything quickly.

'Why is there food..? Did someone come here before me?'

A rustle filled the silence, startling (Y/N) as she looked towards the noise, which seemed to be coming from a nearby bush. She saw a blur of a blueish white and then the rustling stopped.
