Surprises at the cabin 

Jays pov: it's been a busy summer for our family. The kids went to a couple different summer camps over the summer played a lot of sports with her friends and then their cousins also enjoyed some time at a local pool , for me, and Erin we got to have a whole bunch of date nights, which helped us grow stronger as a couple Erin is 23 almost 24 weeks pregnant. She has been feeling good. Erin has officially been Sergeant Lindsay for over a month now and she has been killing it right now. We are at home with the kids.

EG= I can't wait for my birthday in seven days
PJ= oh, boy, she keeps counting down to a birthday can it happened already?
J= hey buddy your sister is excited for her birthday
E= you are the same way when it comes closer to your birthday so let her be excited
PJ= all right I will sorry ember
EG= it's OK Porter
E= so ember girl since your birthday is coming up is there anything you want?
J= or would you like to go somewhere so special for your birthday?
E= maybe you can go on a special date with me and daddy or 101 whatever you would like
EG= yes, I would
J= OK so what would you want to do?
E= and with who
EG= I want to have a special date with daddy
J= wait really
E= oh, come on you can't be that surprise. She is a daddy's girl for sure
J= yeah, I guess not
E= so what do you want to do with daddy
EG= I want to go have my nails done I remember when we were younger daddy stayed home with me and carmyn and planned a spa day for us I loved it
CN= oh yeah, I remember that was a great day. We even painted daddy's nails.
J= wow, you guys remember that
E= is there anything else you want for your birthday?
EG= no not really
J= wow she is simple I like it
JW= mom I'm hungry
JR= yes so am I
E= all right well I have nothing laid out for dinner, so how does pizza sound?
PJ= I feel like we always have pizza
CN= yeah, we do
J= well how about some Chinese food?
JR= I love Chinese
EG= same here
E= all right I'll go order some Chinese food for everybody

Erin goes and orders the food about 30 minutes later the food comes and we all get to eating dinner later that night. All the kids have their showers and head off to bed now it's us in our own room getting ready to lay down

J= so how are you doing today?
E= I'm doing pretty good you know you don't have to check on me every day
J= I know, but I'm your husband and I have to make sure you were OK
E= well that's why I love you so much
J= and I love you ( kiss)
E= so are you ready to have your special 1?01 date with ember
J= oh yeah, I'm so ready to have my nails
E= I bet
J= I feel like maybe we should tell her a party since she shares her birthday with us
E= yeah, I think so too babe
J= so what should we do
E= well I have an idea
J= oh you do what is it?
E= so since all of our kids love the cabin, and since the kids go back to school here in another week or two, why not have a getaway in a party for her up there at the cabin what do you think?
J= I think that is a great idea. I can't wait to tell her about this in the morning.
E= well to add to my idea I don't want to tell ember about the cabin
J= wait what do you mean?
E= I want to throw a surprise birthday party for Her at the cabin
J= oh, really, you do
E= yeah and I'll need your help to make sure she gets surprise
J= how can I help surprise her?
E= well since ember wants to have a spa day, you can spend time with her, and after your spa day, you drive up to the cabin, and hopefully me and the others can get everything set up for the party so what do you think
J= I think that's a great plan, so is the party only going to be us in the kids or anyone else like our coworkers or my family?
E= well I would love for all of them to come, but I'm not sure if they all can come
J= makes sense
E= I think I'll ask them all at work tomorrow
J= sounds like a good idea
E= but right now I'm tired so let's head to bed
J= all right ( to her belly) Good night baby sleep well daddy loves you.
E= you are so sweet but if you just woke up the baby when it starts kicking me you're a deadman
J= well, we will see
