Hermione POV
A few days passed by of no studying for me, and I got quite a cold. Draco was right. Draco took care of me well though, which is why I was back on my feet by Thursday.
I can't believe I missed so much! We learned about hummingbirds and glitter butterflies. I bit my lip when I returned to my room after dinner. Draco was already there, reading a book.
"What's up?", he asked as I dropped down to sit on my bed, and open my books.
"Nothing, just a whole lot of things to catch up from", I muttered. Draco smirked, got up, and sat behind me. I tilted my head, "what's up with you now?", raising an eyebrow, then returning back to reading the next potions chapter.
"I can help if you want", Draco whispered in my ear.
"Gah! Don't do that, Draco! Don't whisper right in my ear. Go away", I said, annoyed. I have so much to do!
Draco pouted, "nope I won't go away", he said. I gave a heavy sigh.
Draco POV
Damn, she looks so pretty right now.
Her hair was neatly tucked behind her ears, she was wearing a maroon blouse with a black skirt. She looked stressed alright.
I tucked her remaining hair behind her ear, as she blushed.
"You blush a lot! Awww my love is so blushy", I teased. This made her even redder, and muttered while smiling, "Draco, darling, will you please let me study in peace?" she said, tilting her head.
"Alright", I pouted.
"Thank you!" She said, brightly, turning her head back to her book.
"Not yet though", and with that, I gave her a kiss on her cheek, before getting up. I stood up to see Hermione scarlet, and I smirked.
"What was that for?" She said, raising her eyebrows and blushing.
"What do you mean, babe?" I asked, obviously trying to hide my laugh.
Hermione blushed, shook her head, and returned back to studying, still quite scarlet.
"Ughhh this is so boring!", I moaned, dying of boredom.
"Why don't you study?", Hermione suggested quietly.
"And what subject should I study sweetheart?", I smirked, sitting in front of her.
"Potions? Transfiguration? Just do something", she said, exasperated. I smirked even more, "Okay, I will just study Potions with you then", and leaned down to her book, pretending to read.
Hermione pushed my forehead, rolling my eyes, as I laughed. We had no idea that all our talking was ringing down the hallway to the Gryffindor common room, where an outraged Ron sat, and listened to everything.
"We may live without poetry, music, and art;
We may live without conscience, and live without heart;
We may live without friends, we may live without books;
But civilized man cannot live without cooks"Hermione's eyebrow shot up as I said the last word. "In easy words, it means I'm hungry and I need food", I said, casually. Hermione sighed exasperatedly. With a flick of her wand, a plate with fruit tarts appeared.
"Nammy nammy!", I licked my lips as I sat down to eat. Hermione rolled her eyes. As soon I was done I yawned.
"I'm goin' to bed now babe," I muttered, yawning for the third time. I lay down on our adjoined beds, now pulling up the blanket. Ahh, warm.
