Chapter 6: Meeting The Doctor

"Brandie, I'm gonna sleep on the couch tonight," Ashton said. "Ok Ash, love you baby," Brandie said. "Love you too sweetie," Ashton said. Ashton pressed his lips to his wife's, then went to the couch. During the night, Brandie heard a sound that woke her up, she woke up Ashton and they went to investigate. "It's the TARDIS, which means, the Doctor's here," Brandie said. "WTF, does he want?" Ashton asked. "Ashton, language," Brandie said. "You're right, sorry babe," Ashton said. "Hi Brandie, Hi Ashton," The Doctor said. "Hi Doctor," Ashton and Brandie said. "Brandie, I have a question to ask you," The Doctor said. "What is it Doctor?" Brandie asked. "I need someone to come with me and help me save Rose, and be my second companion, are you up for it?" The Doctor asked. "No, she's not, unless I get to come with you too," Ashton said. "Ashton, calm down baby, of course I'm up for it Doctor," Brandie said. "Brandie, you're not going anywhere without me, I'm your husband," Ashton said. "Wait, you two are married now?" The Doctor asked. "Yea, we got married almost a week ago," Brandie said. "Well, congratulations you two, last time I was here, you two were still boyfriend and girlfriend," The Doctor said. "Thanks Doctor, well time flies when you're traveling through time and space I guess," Brandie said. "Yea, it sorta does," The Doctor said. "So where have you been to since we last talked?" Ashton asked. "Well, I finally took Rose to Barcelona, I went back to New Earth, and I met Queen Victoria," The Doctor said. "Really, that's awesome," Ashton said. "Yea, but now I need help to save Rose or else she'll be killed by a werewolf," The Doctor said. "What?" Brandie and Ashton said. "I know, crazy, but she was kidnapped along with Sir Robert's wife," The Doctor said. "I remember Sir Robert," Brandie said. "I thought you would Brandie, and since you're a werewolf yourself, you might be able to reason with him," The Doctor said. "Ok, I'll go, but you can't worry about me while I'm gone Ash," Brandie said. "I'll try not to, but you're my wife Brandie," Ashton said. "I know, but I'll be ok," Brandie said. Ashton agreed to let her go with The Doctor. "Hey Ash, where's Brandie?" Michael asked when he came over the next day. "She's with The Doctor," Ashton said. "Wow, I can't believe you let her go," Michael said. "Yea, me either," Ashton said. Just then, they heard the sound of the TARDIS. "The TARDIS!" Ashton and Michael said. Just The Doctor came out of the TARDIS. "Where's Brandie?" Ashton asked. "Yea, where is my best friend?" Michael asked, picking the Doctor up by the collar. "Guys, I hate to say this, but Brandie's dead," The Doctor said. "What do you mean?" Ashton asked. "We saved Rose, but I took them to New Earth and Cassandra stole Brandie's body, and the patients in the intensive care touched her and she died," The Doctor said. Ashton ran in the house crying. "Nice going Doctor, Ashton really loved Brandie, and now thanks to you, she's dead," Michael said, running in the house after Ashton. "I'm sorry, I really am," The Doctor said. Nobody heard him though. The Doctor ran inside the house. "Get out of here!" Ashton yelled through his tears. "I need to talk to you Ashton," The Doctor said. "No, get out of here, I never wanna see you again!" Ashton yelled. "You better leave him alone, he's just gonna get angrier," Michael said. The Doctor left, he knew Ashton would never forgive him. A little while later, Luke and Calum came over. "Where's Brandie?" Luke asked. "Yea, where is she?" Calum asked. "She's dead," Michael said. Ashton went to his room and locked the door. "What happened?" Luke asked. Michael told them everything. "Fucking Doctor, he should have been keeping an eye on her," Calum said. "Yea, if he couldn't regenerate, I would fucking kill him," Luke said. "Yea, he should have brought her back here as soon as they saved Rose," Michael said. "I'm gonna go talk to Ash," Luke said. Luke walked up and knocked on Ashton's door. "Luke, go away," Ashton said. "Ashton, can I please come in?" Luke asked. "No, go away," Ashton said. "Ashton Irwin, you open this door right now," Luke said. "No!" Ashton yelled. "Ashton, if you don't open this door right now, I'll never speak to you again!" Luke yelled. "Well then, don't talk to me ever again because I'm not opening the door," Ashton said. Michael, Luke, and Calum went back home and Ashton came out of the room. "I miss you so much Brandie, you were my whole world, I don't know how I'll live knowing you're gone," Ashton said. There was a picture on the table next to him, it was of the boys, him, and Brandie. Ashton picked up the picture and cried. "I'll always love you Brandie," Ashton said through the tears. Ashton slept on the couch that night, cuddling the picture. The next day, Michael came over again. "Hey Ash, wanna go see Pitch Perfect 2 with me and Cal?" Michael asked. "No, I'd rather lay here on the couch all day," Ashton said. "Ok," Michael said. "Wait Michael, can you bring me back a pint of strawberry ice cream?" Ashton asked. "Sure Ash," Michael said. "Thanks," Ashton said. With that, Michael left, he called Calum and told him he was on the way. Meanwhile, Ashton was crying his eyes out on the couch. "Why Brandie, why did you have to die?" Ashton asked through his tears. 2 hours later, Michael brought Ashton his strawberry ice cream. "Here you go Ash," Michael said. "Thanks Mikey," Ashton said, taking the ice cream from Michael. "Ashton, you can't stay on the couch forever, Brandie wouldn't want you to," Michael said, sitting on the couch next to Ashton. "I know, but I miss her so much, she was my whole world Michael," Ashton said. "Hey, I miss her too, she was my best friend," Michael said. "Is Luke still mad at me from yesterday?" Ashton asked. "Yea, you really fucked that up yesterday," Michael said. "Hey, don't swear," Ashton said. "Sorry, but you need to apologize to Luke," Michael said. "You're right," Ashton said. "Come on, I'll take you over there," Michael said. "Ok, let me take a shower and get dressed," Ashton said. "Ok, hurry though," Michael said. Ashton was ready in about 15 minutes, and they headed to Luke's house. On the way, Michael called Luke. "Hey Luke," Michael said. "Hey Michael, what's up?" Luke asked. "I'm coming over, and I'm bringing Ashton," Michael said. "No, don't you dare bring him," Luke said. "Luke, I'm bringing him so he can apologize to you," Michael said. "Ok fine," Luke said. Michael and Ashton got to Luke's house about 10 minutes later. "Hey guys, come in," Luke said. "Luke, I'm sorry about yesterday, I was just really upset about Brandie, she was my whole world," Ashton said. "It's ok, I understand, she was my best friend, but she's in a better place now," Luke said, hugging Ashton. "You're right, and she wouldn't want me to cry over her," Ashton said. "Right," Luke said. "I was seriously thinking about cutting again, but I'm not going to, because Brandie wouldn't want me to," Ashton said. "Exactly, think about what Brandie would want you to do," Luke said. "Well, I think we're gonna go home, bye Luke," Michael said. "Bye guys," Luke said. Michael took Ashton home then went home himself. That night, there was a really bad storm. "Man, I wish Brandie was here," Ashton said. Ashton was scared of storms, so he didn't sleep at all that night. "Ashton, wake up," a voice said. Ashton woke up, Rose was there. "Rose, what are you doing here?" Ashton asked. "Calum wanted me to check on you, he said he called you and you didn't answer," Rose said. "Oops, I was really tired, I didn't sleep at all last night, I'll call him later," Ashton said. "Ok, I'll tell him," Rose said. "Ok," Ashton said. "Why didn't you sleep last night?" Rose asked. "The storm scared me so much, so I couldn't sleep at all," Ashton said. "Oh yeah, I forgot, you're scared of storms," Rose said. "Yea," Ashton said. "Ashton, you know Brandie wouldn't want you to stay here in the house forever, it's not good for you," Rose said. "I know," Ashton said. "Ashton, it wasn't the Doctor's fault Brandie's dead, it's mine," Rose said. "What do you mean?" Ashton asked. "I dodged out of the way and let Cassandra steal her body and she didn't climb up the ladder fast enough," Rose said. "Get out of my house you dirty blonde assassin!" Ashton yelled. "Fine, I'll leave and never come back!" Rose yelled. "Good, I never wanna see you or the Doctor ever again!" Ashton yelled. Rose left and slammed the door behind her. Ashton called Calum. "Hey Ash," Calum said. "Hey Cal, sorry I didn't answer, I was asleep," Ashton said. "It's ok," Calum said. "What's up?" Ashton asked. "Just wanted to know if you wanted to go to Luke's house and watch 1408 with us," Calum said. "Sure, I would love to," Ashton said. "Well, I'll come pick you up then, see you in a little bit," Calum said. "See you in a bit Cal," Ashton said. Ashton took a shower and got dressed. About 20 minutes later, Calum arrived. "Hey Ash," Calum said. "Hey Cal," Ashton said. "Ready to go?" Calum asked. "Yep, let's go," Ashton said. They met Michael and Luke at Luke's house. "Hey guys, come in, Michael's on the way," Luke said. "I swear, your house looks more amazing everytime I'm here," Calum said. "Yea I know," Luke said. "Do you still have the ice cream from last time?" Ashton asked. "Yea I do," Luke said. "Hey guys," Michael said when he got there. "Hey Mikey," Luke, Calum, and Ashton said. "Did you bring the movie?" Luke asked. "Sure did," Michael said. "Awesome," Luke said. Ashton started getting sad. "What's wrong Ash?" Michael asked. "It's just, Brandie loved this movie, it was one of her favorites," Ashton said. "Oh yeah, I remember that now, guys come here," Michael said. Luke and Calum came over to the couch where Michael and Ashton were. "Ash, what's wrong?" Luke asked. "It's the movie we picked," Michael said. "What about it?" Luke asked. Calum knew exactly what it was. "It was one of Brandie's favorite movies," Calum whispered in Luke's ear. "Oh yeah, I forgot," Luke said. "It's ok guys, I'll watch it anyway," Ashton said. "Ok, I'll sit by you in case you get scared," Luke said. "Ok, if I get scared, will you hold my hand like Brandie used to?"Ashton asked. "Sure," Luke said. Calum started the movie and sat on the couch with Michael, Luke sat by Ashton on the floor. "Why don't you guys just stay the night, it's getting late," Luke said after the movie. "Sure, thanks Luke," Calum said. "I call dibs on the couch," Michael said. "Ok, Ashton can sleep in my room with me," Luke said. "Thanks Luke," Ashton said. "No problem Ash," Luke said. "I'll sleep in here on the floor," Calum said. Michael and Calum set up where they were gonna sleep, and Luke and Ashton went to Luke's room. "Thanks again for letting me sleep in here with you Luke," Ashton said. "No problem," Luke said. "Why did you get bunk beds in the first place?" Ashton asked. "I don't know, I guess just in case one of you guys sleep over," Luke said. "Oh," Ashton said. "Goodnight Ash," Luke said. "Goodnight Luke," Ashton said. Ashton slept on the top bunk and Luke slept on the bottom. During the night, Ashton heard the TARDIS and went downstairs. "Ashton, I'm sorry about Brandie, I really am, please forgive me," The Doctor said. "Doctor, be quiet, the other boys are asleep," Ashton whispered. "Oh, sorry, I didn't know," The Doctor whispered. "But, I do forgive you, I'm sorry for yelling at you," Ashton whispered. "It's ok, I forgive you," The Doctor whispered. "Come on, Luke and I are sleeping upstairs, Michael and Calum are sleeping in the living room, so we have to be quiet when we go in," Ashton whispered. "Ok," The Doctor whispered. Ashton and the Doctor went upstairs. "Luke's asleep, so we have to be quiet," Ashton whispered. "Ok," The Doctor whispered. Ashton and the Doctor sat on the floor and talked for the rest of the night. "Morning Luke," Ashton said when Luke woke up. "Morning Ashton, wait what's he doing here?" Luke asked seeing the Doctor. "Luke, I'm sorry about Brandie, but it's not my fault she's dead," The Doctor said. "What do you mean?" Luke asked. "It's Rose's fault, she let Cassandra steal her body," The Doctor said. Luke just stood there, not knowing what to say. "Luke?" Ashton asked, waving his hand in Luke's face. "Sorry, I just can't believe Rose would do something like that," Luke said. "I know, but it's true," The Doctor said. "Doctor, wanna help me wake Michael and Calum up?" Ashton asked. "Sure, what were you thinking?" The Doctor asked. Ashton told the Doctor what he was thinking. They decided to go through with it. "Ahh, what the fuck did you do that for?" Michael asked. "Yea, that wasn't funny," Calum said. Ashton, Luke, and the Doctor were laughing their heads off. "Well, I thought it was pretty funny and hey, don't swear Michael," Ashton said. "Hey guys, what do ya say you come with me and Rose and I take you guys to meet Queen Victoria?" The Doctor asked. "I'm not going," Ashton said. "Why not?" Calum asked. "He doesn't wanna go because of Rose," Luke said. "Well, she said she's sorry Ashton," The Doctor said. Rose came out of the TARDIS. "I really am sorry Ashton, I hope you forgive me," Rose said. "Rose, I'm sorry I called you a dirty blonde assassin, of course I forgive you," Ashton said. "So, you guys wanna go?" The Doctor asked. "Yea, let's go guys," Calum said. Ashton, Luke and Michael followed Calum, The Doctor, and Rose into the TARDIS. Luke was the first one out of the TARDIS when they arrived. "Wow, who would've known Scotland back in 1879 was so beautiful?" Luke asked. "Yea, Brandie would've loved it, wouldn't she Ash?" Calum asked. "Yea, she would've loved it," Ashton said. "Ok, you guys ready to go meet Queen Victoria?" The Doctor asked. "Yea let's go," The boys said. "Ahh, Doctor, it's good to see you again," Queen Victoria said. "A pleasure to see you again Your Majesty," The Doctor said. "Where's that lovely little girl that was here with you last time?" Queen Victoria asked. "Oh, Brandie, I'm afraid I have bad news about her Your Majesty," The Doctor said. "What is it?" Queen Victoria asked. "I'm afraid she's dead, Your Majesty," The Doctor said. "What happened?" Queen Victoria asked. "She was shot," The Doctor said. They all talked for a few more hours and the Doctor took them home. When they got back, they saw something they didn't expect to see, Brandie was still alive! "Wait, Brandie, is it really you?" Ashton asked. "Yea, it's really me Ash," Brandie said. "But, I thought you were dead," Ashton said. "What, Doctor, you told them I was dead?!" Brandie asked, a little aggravated. "Well, I thought you were," The Doctor said. "The only way to kill a werewolf is to shoot them with a silver bullet, besides, the sisters cured me," Brandie said. "Oh, sorry I didn't go back for you," The Doctor said. "Whatever, I'm just happy you're alive, I've missed you so much," Ashton said. "I've missed you too Ash," Brandie said. "Well, do you guys want me to take you home?" Calum asked. "Sure," Ashton and Brandie said. Calum took them home and Ashton spent the rest of the day with his wife.
