NO REGRETS

I didn't wake up until noon when Katelyn,  Penelope,  and Nia came over to check on me. Jane was up early and working in her home office. She told me she went to the office and wrote down all the furniture that needed to be replaced. Cheryl met her there.  They ordered the furniture and waited for it to be delivered. Our volunteers showed up and discarded the ruined furniture in a dumpster Cheryl ordered last night to be delivered which was unknown to me.  She said Piper,  Chris and Mario were there with the employees workmans comp paper work alokf with release of liability. They faxed them into workmans comp.  The human resource employees were shaken up and many were seeking out counseling  which I was glad to hear and grateful for my wife,  Cheryl , Annastasia and Mario doing what they did as well as the volunteers.  Jane said the volunteers were patching up the walls. Jane reimbursed them for their purchases. The doctors gave them money for patching up the walls and bought them lunch at the Cheese Cake factory.

Maura we know your probably not up for working. We all are glad you are okay physically. Thanks Nia.  We brought pizzas,  ribs and salad for lunch for us all. Our spouses and Jackson send their love. Babe they didn't know about the other food. Courtney  brought tortillas over too. We will eat what the two of them made for us for dinner.

We ate and they finally left after they realized I was physically okay.

Babe you were tired to sleep that long. Yes it took alot out of me physically and emotionally. Yilena and Antonio said the gangs now know not to come blazing in to retaliate. Good. More people could of died over their stupidly. I know. Ann called they are pushing their trials  for next week.  Avery Harris firm and Carmen's firm will be representing you.  We were going to do it but Ann stated we shouldn't because of you and Mrs.  Wright.   Do they know he was shot? A turf war over drugs.  I was correct stupidity.  Babe your getting yourself worked up. I will do yoga with you. Thanks babe.

Jane and I got changed and did yoga for an hour. It definitely helped me  calmed down.  We ended up making love in the room. We later got up and sanitized the mats and took a nap.  I was still emotionally drained.  I could of been killed . I didn't
want to think what it would of done to my loved ones. Especially my wife, my identical twin sister,  my step brother and sister. 

Dinner time arrived and we enjoyed the kung pao chicken, fried rice and egg rolls with a bottle of beer.

Babe do you realize these past few months you have been drinking more beer even if  it's alcohol free? Come to think of it your right.  Dang you and your brothers have rubbed off on me. Babe you make it sound like it's a bad thing. I didn't mean in that way. Its okay if you did. I love you anyways. 

We kiss and cleaned the kitchen. Jane took the clean empty dishes back while I  carried a case of half of alcohol free and the other with alcohol of my families Bordeaux wine and my medical bag. Jane rang the door bell and Mario answered it.

We thought we bring back the empty dishes and a case of wine from everlasting winery.  Mario I made sure half of it was alcohol free. I don't want you mixing alcohol with your medications. Thanks Maura I wouldn't I know better.  I did that in college and regretted it. Plus Courtney reminds me not too. I came to see for myself how your doing and examine you.

I had Mario remove his shirt and to lower his shorts a little. I put in my gloves and removed the bandage. The stitches dissolved and he didn't realize it because in the morning they were still there faintly he said. I told him he was doing good. I took his vitals and pressed on where his appendix were at.  He didn't flinch and he said it didn't hurt anymore. I told him to finish the antibiotics and to continue with my doctors orders. Jane and I thanked them for lunch. I tool off my gloves and tossed them in the hallway bathroom and washed my hands with some hand sanitizer. We than left for home.

Maur he healed outside quickly. Is that normal? Everyone is different. For him it's normal.  I have some work to do for the insurance claims submissions. Once I am done I will be out so we can watch a movie.  Where is the bill for the furniture you ordered? I left it on your desk. I signed my name on it stating signing for Maura Isles Rizzoli.  It's okay and thank you.  

I kissed my wife and turned off the alarm for my office.

I sat down and got my lap top and check book out for the clinic and wrote the office furniture company a check and addressed it. I wrote several other checks too and placed stamps on all of the bills. I told Jane I would be right back . I jogged to the mail box and left the bills to be picked up.  I than jogged back home, logged off my laptop, put my work check book away, turned the alarm on and went to where Jane was at. We decided to watch Beauty and the beast.

We cuddled up and watched it. We finished it. Jane turned the alarm on while I called all the staff who got shot or hurt physically at the clinic. They were all doing well and the nurses who were assigned had just left and would return in the morning. I had 2 nurses assigned to each employee 8.5 shifts each. A half hour for lunch and breaks.  Jennifer stated her husband went back to work today after he realized the nurses were taking good care of her. She told me Sunday was going to be their last day. If she continued as she was.  With her being a doctor, I  couldn't state differently.  She reassured me if she got worse she go in to the hospital or call them to return.

Jane and I cuddled in bed and continued reading a book we have berm reading for a few days. We started yawning and Jane put the book on the night stand. We used the restroom and changed into shorts and a t-shirt. We finished our hygiene than went to bed.  I wanted Jane to spoon me and she did.  We both eventually fell asleep.
