Ananda and Sahasi stood on the rock in the tree, with Rani and Baliyo sitting beside the rock. Simba sat at the side of the tree. Looking at Kion.
Ananda growled, "Fighting when it wasn't time for the competition, no mercy shown to either lion, flesh torn, claws, blood, teeth. This disappoints me."
Kion looked down in shame. Blaze just glared at Ananda. Sahasi was about to talk, but Ananda didn't let him.
"You will both still be able to fight for Rani's paw, but, you will be forced to get along. And if you don't, I'll kill you myself," Ananda growled. Kion and Blaze gasped.
"Ananda, that's a bit much," Sahasi replied. "Fine then, if you two aren't able to get along, then no food for three days, while still competing," Ananda said.
Kion nodded, but Blaze did nothing.
"Rani, do you have any specific punishments for them?" Ananda asked. "I don't care," Rani rolled her eyes. "Alright. Blaze, Kion, you have one day to get along," Ananda said.
Kion and Blaze left the tree. Blaze glared at Kion, "After the mate of Rani is decided, which will be me. I'll kill you." "Good luck with that," Kion smirked. Simba walked out, and Blaze walked away.
"Kion I'm disappointed," Simba sighed. "What?" Kion asked. "You attacked another lion, for no reason," Simba shook his head. "No! They were bullying me! I was just trying to prove I was the strongest!" Kion argued.
"Violence doesn't always lead to victory," Simba replied. "Well it worked for you," Kion growled. Simba was Speechless. Kion stormed off.
"I can't believe they did that," Ananda shook her head. "Ugh your still on the fight," Rani rolled her eyes. "If course I am!" Ananda shouted. Rani groaned.
"Rani, why aren't you preparing for tomorrow?" Ananda asked. "Why should I? I don't want to be mates with any of these lions," Rani growled.
"Oh yeah? What about Kion?" Baliyo smirked. "What about him?" Rani asked. "Well, you kind of opened up to him when he met you. More so than the others," Baliyo explained.
Rani rolled her eyes, "Little brothers are so annoying." "Hey!" Baliyo frowned. Rani had a slight smile on her face.
Kion stormed off. He walked to Blaze. After all, they had to get along. Kion rolled his eye's just thinking about it.
Blaze was hanging out with Aisi, Alphonse, Zin, Jacan, and Etan. Kion walked up to Blaze.
"Hey nice job on the fight Kion," Aisi smiled. "Thanks," Kion replied. Though the pain in his back hurt a lot from his flesh being torn.
Blaze rolled his eye's when he saw Kion. "Look I don't want to be friends with you either, but we have to or the queen will kill us," Kion explained.
"Fine," Blaze sighed with annoyance.
As they were talking, Kion noticed something out of the corner of his eye. It was Rani walking out of the tree. "Excuse me for a minute," Kion slipped away from them and ran to Rani.
Kion followed Rani untill he caught up to her. "Hey Rani!" He shouted. "Holy Kings Of The Past!" Rani jumped up and turned around, "Kion?"
"Oh sorry, didn't mean to scare you," Kion apologized. Rani caught her breath, "You're fine, just don't do it again." Kion nodded. "So what do you want?" Rani asked, a little snarky.
"Well, our first visit, you never really talked to me, so I never got to learn anything about you," Kion replied. Rani rolled her eyes. "Why are you so...uh...angry all the time?" Kion asked.
"I was happy before, but my mom is forcing me to do this betrothel," Rani sighed. "I have no experience with that, but I am great a comforting," Kion stated. Rani raised an eyebrow.
"I am sorry you have to go through with this, and if you want, I will drop out of the competition. I know you aren't very fond of me," Kion said. "Why would you do that?" Rani asked.
"You don't like me. If I win, I don't want you to be mates with me if you don't want to," Kion explained. Rani smiled, "I don't hate you. And I think it's sweet how you would do that for me. Stay in the competition. I would like to see you fight for me."
Kion didn't know how to react. Rani giggled. "Uh I guess ill- AHH!" Kion fell the ground in pain. "Kion!" Rani shouted. Kion layed on his stomach. He was groaning in pain.
"Kion what's wrong!" Rani asked. Kion couldn't answer. Rani looked at him. She then realized, it was his torn flesh. It had gotten infected because it didn't get the proper care.
"Stay here Kion," Rani instructed. She ran off. "Not like I have much of a choice," Kion groaned.
Rani soon came back. She had Poppy seeds, and Yarrow.
"The Yarrow will help your infection, the Poppy seeds will numb the pain," Rani said. Kion nodded. Rani gave him the Poppy seeds. Once he swallowed, Rani mashed up the Yarrow.
Once the Yarrow was mashed up, she put it on Kion's open flesh on his back.
"This might sting," Rani warned. Kion nodded and dug his claws into the ground, ready for pain.
Rani moved the Yarrow around his wound. Kion roared and dug his claws deeper into the ground. He tried to kick Rani, but she moved. "Don't be a baby," Rani chuckled.
Kion roared in pain again. "Here have some more Poppy seeds," Rani gave him more. This numbed the pain just a little, but not completely.
Kion dug his claws into the ground again.
Rani drew her tongue behind Kion's ears, down his mane. "Shh it's ok. They pain will be gone soon," Rani said in a calm tone. Kion sheathed his claws.
Rani continued to lick behind Kion's ears. Eventually, the stinging that was coming from his back, stopped. "Better?" Rani asked. Kion nodded. He tried to stand, but Rani pushed him back down," No, there's there's one more thing I need to do."
"What?" Kion asked. Rani grabbed cobwebs and placed them on the wound. "This will block dirt and other stuff that may infect it," Rani explained. "Thanks," Kion smiled. He stood up.
"Next time you get into a fight, don't let the other lion take your flesh," Rani joked. "He had me in a lock hold. I couldn't get out of his grasp," Kion groaned. "Don't come up with excuses, because I don't care. As long as everyone is ok," Rani tussled Kion's mane.
Kion chuckled and shook his mane back up. "Talk to you later Kion," Rani smiled. She ran her tail under his chin, then left. Kion watched her leave. He smiled and walked back to the others.
It was night, and he needed sleep so he could win.
