With heavy steps and eyes never leaving him, you were so close to falling into his arms that was until you felt a strong power pulling you back, closing your eyes tightly as you silently prayed for yourself for the incoming impact of your fall, but you were met with Haru's chest behind you. Holding your arm with one hand as he had his left hand pointed at Beomgyu and the others, his power surging across the room.
Panicked screams erupted throughout the whole chapel, alarming the guards to come in groups from all around with spears and swords on hand in defense.
"Seize them!" Haru shouted, his loud voice hurting your ears with his grip on your arm hurting you for your attempts of breaking away.
The guards exchanged horrified looks after hearing the sudden command as if their efforts would take any effect on immortal beings like them, but then, they all saw how their weapons showed a hint of glow, averting their attention to Haru who now wore a smile. An idea clicked inside their minds, and the guards all advanced towards Beomgyu and the others, sending another round of screams from the guests who were witnessing all of this unfold in front of their eyes.
You continued to struggle your way into Haru's grip, with your chest heaving up and down as you couldn't do anything but suffer and watch the disturbing start.
You saw how Yeonjun and Soobin teleported at the same time, sending the whole chapel shaking from the other events that were happening outside.
"Taehyun!" Hueningkai shouted, turning to look at the God of Minds who now took a step forward, his eyes glowing green as he floated himself up the floor.
"All of you!" He began, catching all of their attention.
"Sleep" Taehyun's voice came into a whisper in all of their ears, sending everyone inside the room into a gentle slumber, but you looked at the floor above, seeing your mother and father getting escorted out of the room, just seconds away from getting the effect of Taehyun's command.
You heard Haru groan as a result, throwing you away from his hold with your body meeting the floor with great force. You hissed at the impact, both of your palms were pressed on the cold marbled ground to assist you in standing up but you failed miserably for your mind to suddenly stop working to take control of your body.
With a stoic face, Beomgyu pushed Taehyun to the side, his long strides present along the aisle with his footsteps getting louder and louder for your ears to recognize. A fume was boiling inside of him from the moment he got a clearer sight of your swollen eyes and tear-stained cheeks that you got from Haru who stood at some distance away from him.
But then, a series of cracked laughter left Haru's lips, the terrifying sound caught all of your attention, watching him run a hand through his hair whilst biting down his lip. Haru lifted a finger, pointing it at Beomgyu who could only tilt his head to the side in response.
"You're better off dead!" The God of Love announced.
You saw how Beomgyu's jaw clenched before he took a step back, "I was dead long ago"
