Y/n's pov

'We have to be the ones to finish him!' Tanjiro yells as you all attack Kibutsuji as its face splits, its body deforming. The rain suddenly starts to pour through the dark clouds, the thunder raging down to the ground although the otherworldly spirit flames burn bright against the rainwater, sizzling the droplets into the air.

'Don't stop!' Obanai shouts from the distance as the spirits force your numb limbs to move without stopping for even a second, the coppery tang of blood filling the dawn sky.

'Watch out!' You attack the tendril shooting towards Giyu, him paling as the demon's whip graze the surface of his arm.

'We only have 35 minutes until sunrise. Don't stop attacking!' Tanjiro yells towards you both, your fingers around the hilt of the nichirin blade starting to tremble from the fatigue.

'We're not going to last!' You hear Obanai shout from the other side, him running past you towards Kibutsuji before pushing Tanjiro behind him. The demon's teeth sink into his face, Tanjiro's eyes pooling with tears as he steps backwards staring at Obanai in front of him. You push the spirit air further as you feel your arms slowing down, throwing attack after attack at the demon through the ripped muscles refusing to move, your body feeling heavier by the second.

'Why do you always have that bandage around your face anyway? Any wound should have healed by now.' You ask the serpent pillar as he tries to push you off of his tree branch, the spirit air placing you firmly onto the tree.

'It's none of your business.' He says, proceeding to tap your back with his sword's sheath, it gradually turning into multiple punches.

'You can still sit on another branch. This tree has more than one, you know.' you say, your feet dangling in the air every time his sheath smacks your back.

'You think you can just own everything like a spoiled child you are in your family estate? Get off now.' He says, pointing his finger at you as his heterochromatic eyes glare at your head.

'It's against the Corps rule to hit other slayers!' You yell as he smacks your back as hard as he can with his sword, sending you falling to the ground from the tree. You land softly on your feet, the burning pain on your back growing as the winter wind blows over the headquarters, Obanai's annoyed glare almost burning a hole in your head.

'I'm going to tell Mitsuri-chan that you like her! Your spirit cannot lie!' You shout at him reclaiming his spot on the treebranch, pointing your finger at his face before turning to sprint away towards Mitsuri's estate.

'I'll kill you!' You hear his voice along with Kaburamaru hissing at your back, but you ignore them both, laughing as you look back at his irritated face, the expression clear enough even though half his face was covered in bandages.

'Why? I'm helping you both, aren't I?' You yell, even though you would never do such thing to risk their relationship.

'L/n!' You hear his voice from the tree, throwing his geta towards your head as you run away to Mitsuri's estate away from the headquarters.
