JISOO.

May 11. 5:25 AM.

Incheon International Airport.

This is some kind of a flight. I seriously just wanted to give up and return home. It's been 13 hours and 30 minutes before landing at Incheon International Airport. I seriously wanted to cry my eyes out. My body was aching and I needed to stretch. I called Seulgi as soon as the plane landed.

"Seulgs, the plane just landed in Incheon International Airport. All is good except my butt feels numb after all those hours sitting," I said as soon as the latter picked up. Seulgi chuckled. It's just after 1 in the afternoon in LA

"My dear, your meeting is tomorrow. You have an entire day to get some rest, don't worry too much. You have a little time to look around too."

"I really just wanted to give up and go home, Seulgs. All of my energy is drained by the flight time. It's a little chilly in here as well. I hate the cold."

"Come on, it's just for a week. Have you double checked the hotel's accommodation?"

"Yes all good for the papers needed for the accommodation. I'll wait for the luggage then I'll head straight to the hotel. I'm so hungry right now and too tired," I said. Seulgi chuckled again.

"Yes please. Please let me know as soon as you checked in to the hotel, alright?"

"I will. I'm sorry too for interrupting your sleep. I know it's just after 1 in the morning there. Please be safe."

"You too, Soo. I'll see you when you get back." I stared at the phone for a couple of minutes before pocketing it. I looked around, momentarily stunned. The airport is busy this time of the year. It's my first time to visit my home country. It feels a little strange. It's been a little while since I left the country for some business.

The plane started to disembark the passengers and I made my way to Avianca's main hub. It's the plane I boarded at LAX. I absent minded checked my wrist watch, it's 45 past 6 in the evening. My eyes are already drooping. The carousel at last started to move for the luggage. I don't have much for this trip. My laptop is included in the carry on and pretty much everything I needed for this trip is in there. I spotted my suitcase right away and I sprinted, meeting it instead of waiting for it. Unfortunately for me, someone is doing the same too and we collided with a little crash.

"Ooopppss," I muttered as the girl swayed a little before completely falling down. I immediately bent to help her.

"I am so sorry. It's just that I'm in a little hurry to get my stuff," I said, so embarrassed. I helped the girl get back to her feet.

"It's okay. I was doing the same too. Don't worry about it. Accident happens," she said, smiling a little. I couldn't help but notice how tired she looked and her eyes were sort of dead looking.

"I'm really sorry. Let me help you get your suitcase. The least I can do."

"That would be great. Thank you?" her voice trails into a question.

"Oh Jisoo. My name's Kim Jisoo," I stuttered and held out my hand. The girl chuckled again and we shook hands.

"That's a very unusual name for a girl. Especially like you. My name's Roseanne, by the way." I chuckled at her remark. It's the normal reaction I get. I don't like my name that much. It sounds like it belongs to a saint and I know I'm not.

"I know. It's the normal reaction I get from people. Nice meeting you, Roseanne." The latter smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. I wonder about that.

"Same here, Jisoo. I hope I catch you around the city. If it's your first time visiting here, I'll recommend the Seoul Forest and Seokchon Lake. It's not so crowded this time of the year," she said, still smiling that sort of dead end grin. I smiled back a little reluctantly.
