Wife Buisness

"Let me get this straight, you were de-Santified?" Neil asked. "And you only have a few days to fine a wife or you're out?" Laura continued.

"Yeah. And Snickerdoodle has been sucked into this mess"

"Well what are you going to do? We dated for 3 years before you decided to marry me" Laura said looking to her current husband and her ex husband. I snorted Scott turning to me and pointing his finger at me "Don't start laughing, this is no time to be snarky" He said as I crossed my arms. I bit at my nails and wondered how Bernard was doing.

Bernard's p.o.v

This was going horrible, The toy Snickers wanted to explore everything she could find while "Santa" was trying to do everything the real Santa was meant to. Holding a few pages of the list I ran after the toy version of my girlfriend. "Hey! You! Snickers! Get back here!" I shouted pushing past some smaller elves and grabbing her by the pointed ears my girlfriend currently didn't have. "Come on. You are not to be messing about right now" I scowled as she glared back.

"Your just a sourpuss" She said crossing her arms as she walked beside me. "Sourpuss?! Me! Please." I rolled my eyes. Curtis walking down with Santa. "Look forward, say hello to the elves" Curtis instructed. "Ho. Ho. Ho. You're doing a wonderful job!" Santa said as I groaned mentally. "Perfect.." I mumbled. Some of the elves came to him for questions as the toy repeated what he just said I gently stopped the Santa "Let's dial it back on the Ho, Ho, ho's" I said with a glare. "You're doing great!" Curtis cheered for his creation.

"Why don't you just say it 'You were right Curtis, I was wrong'' Curtis said with a smug grin. "Ok, okay, I'll admit, The you Santa us doing well but my girlfriend is as curious as a cat and I can't take my eyes off her for 2 seconds before she runs away." I said my hand wrapped around the toys wrist.

"Elves are working hard and they're happy. It'll be fine" Curtis said in comfort. Santa took Curtis aside as the toy version of Snickers disappeared again. "I'm gonna loose my marbles.." I groaned running to go find her.

Snickers p.o.v

Staring at Scott I held back a laugh while he wore Neil's hideous sweater. "Are you sure you don't have any other clothes I could borrow?" Scott asked. "The idea is to attract a woman" Charlie continued.

"What are you talking about?" Neil asked. "He looks like a limesicle." I stated blankly. "I think it makes you look hot" Neil smiled. "What do you think Laura, doesn't he look "hot" I asked using my fingers to make air quotes to further prove how ugly the sweater looked.

"I-I think it's what on the inside that counts" Laura said cringing. "I thought you said you liked that sweater?" Neil asked. "We'll talk later" she whispered.

"I'm off, oh! I do need to borrow the car" Scott said. "I parked the minivian behind Neil, just had it washed" Laura said as I put my hand over my mouth trying not to laugh leaning on Charlie for support.

"The minivan. Okay.. we'll wish me luck. I got a needlepoint sweater and a minivan. See you in eight minutes!" Scott shouted before walking out. "Snickers why don't you and Charlie head to bed? It's late" Laura said. "Oh come on mom!" Charlie whined. "It's fine Charlie come on" I said as he groaned walking up the stairs. "There's a guest bedroom to the left!" Laura shouted, parting ways the Charlie I opened the door to see the bed.

I shut the door quietly and took off my shoes crawling into the big bed. Looking at the ceiling I couldn't help but feel the searing pain in my ears. Groaning I held my head in pain. This was nothing like I'd ever felt before.. hiding my head in the Satin cased pillow I felt tears prick my eyes.

"Snickers?" I heard a soft voice as I quickly turned around. There, in the doorway was my technical half sister Lucy. "What's up?" I asked wiping my face. "You're an elf right?" She asked as I nodded. "Do you think you could do some Christmas magic? Charlie has the snow globe but he doesn't let me touch it.." she said sadly. "Scot has been upset and I want to keep up my spirits, like you" She said. I felt my heart throb by her words. "Of course.. come here" I whispered. Thinking for a second I had an idea. Forming a snowflake with some glitter of my hands she looked in awe, blowing it to her face the glitter stuck against her skin making her giggle. "Now go to sleep" I told her kissing her head a few times.

Pulling me into a hug I felt warm. "You are my favourite elf" Lucy said before running to her room. I smiled and laid back down 'I'm a kids favourite elf' I thought 'Bernard is going to be so jealous' I giggled before I felt my eyelids become heavy letting sleep take over me.
