The office.

As you sat on your chair you put your hands on your head thinking while James says "they were here. Y/N they were here.!" Glynda says "we're very much aware of that. Thank you, James." You leaned back on your chair listening to them argue "Fantastic, You're aware. Now are we going to do something about it or should we just stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us?"

You were about to yell at them to be quiet, but Ozpin put a hand on your shoulder. Your sighs and heard beeping and said "come in." now sitting straight.

Ruby exits the elevator and says, "sorry it took so long... someone accidentally pushed all the buttons in the elevator on the way up here." she then looked around and said awkwardly "it wasn't me..." you say to her as she approached the desk "Thank you for coming Ruby how are you feeling?" she says to you "ok.? I guess. I'd feel better if my bad guy catching record wasn't over to 3."

They all looked at Ruby. She says awkwardly rubbing the back of her head "ok... so it's that tone we're going for... got it." Ironwood says while approaching Ruby "Ruby... I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you did last night is exactly what doing a huntress is all about... you recognized a threat, you took action, and you did the very best you could." Ruby looked up at Ironwood and says, "thank you, sir."

Ozpin says still having a hand on your shoulder "Now the general here has informed us of the event that... transpired last night, but now that you rested, we were wondering if you have anything to add." Glynda says after his sentence "was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?"

Ruby was thinking and says "I- I don't know, she was wearing a mask. And she never said anything to me. But she fought with glass! I don't think that was her Semblance tho. Her clothing lid up whenever she attacked."

Glynda starts to think and says, "safe with the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby." James then says, "embodying dust into clothing is an age-old technique, it could have been anyone." Ruby then says interrupting Ironwood "wait... you think this girl connected with Torchwich and The White Fang?" You say as both Glynda and James looked at you "it's possible... but we still lack the required to link the two together." Ruby then says "actually I- I think I remember her saying something about a hideout or something... I'm in the southeast. Just outside the Kingdom." You simply smiled at her replies. "Interesting." Glynda says "I thought you said the intruder never? -" you interrupted her "Thank you for your cooperation, Ruby. Why don't you go and spend some time with your team you have a big day ahead of you." Ozpin then says, "and Miss Rose, please try to be...discreet about this matter." She nodded and said, "yes sir." As she exits

Glynda and James were near the window while you sat down and Ozpin was beside you. James says, "Well there we have it. We send as many tropes as we can to the southeast. Find out exactly what's going on." While he said that Glynda shakes her head James just continued, "and eradicate the force that stands in our way." Glynda says angered "why much does your answer for everything have to involve a triumphant display of military Bravado!? You treat every situation like it's a contest of measuring di-!"

You say before she can finish that sentence "Glynda!" Ozpin just quietly laughs. You turn your chair towards them while Glynda mutters "well he does..." you say "she's right, as much as me and Ozpin would love to end this situation once and for all, we must remember this must go beyond Vale. Beyond Beacon. And if this truly part of some master plan for which we know not the final move, we mustn't be so bond, nor can we risk the spread of panic."

James tried to sound calm, but he was angry at what you said, "I have serviced you both faithfully for years... but if you mean to tell me that you plan to hold the defenses and wait-!"
